Brian wasn't in the mood to be happy or smile, he was really depressed and sad. Joe tried to make him happy, didn't work. Murr tried making him happy, nothing worked. They took him to the movies, watched a comedy movie and Brian sat through the movie with a straight face.

Sal. He didn't do anything to make Brian smile. Maybe that's what Brian needed.

"Murr, you dope. Come here." Joe said. Murr walked over to Joe. They both looked at Brian, he buried himself in his phone, a tear rolled down his cheek. They both felt bad for poor Brian.

"What do you think will cheer him up?" Murr said.

"Think. One of us is missing." Joe said. Murr looked around and didn't Sal. He finally realized what Joe was referring to.

"Sal." They both said in unison. Joe grabbed his phone and texted Sal.

Joe: Sal, Brian isn't feeling too good. I need you to go to his house and help him.

Sal: But why do I?

Joe: Because you're the only one that can help him.

Sal: I guess you're right.

Joe quickly drove to Brian's house, dropping off Brian. Brian was a mess, an emotional one. Brooklyn lied on his lap, purring. Brian pet her hand, while Brooklyn raised her paws at Brian.

"Silly kitty." Brian said. He heard a knock at the door, he opened to see Sal. Sal looked at him, smiling. Brian didn't have the urge to smile, but deep down he wanted to. He hugged Sal, holding him tightly.

"Bri, let me get inside first!" Sal chuckled. He sat down on Brian's couch. Brian sat next to him, looking at the floor.

"Brian, what's wrong? Do you feel sad? Are you not happy?" Sal asked. Brian nodded his head, a tear rolled down his cheek. Sal put his hand on Brian's cheek.

"Bri, look at me. Hey. Smile for me. Please." Sal softly said. He couldn't take Sal's cuteness and smiled softly.

"You're so cute when you smile Bri."
