AT GOENKA VILLA

SIYA'S POV

"Bye sweetheart ", Aarav waved me bye as I got down of his KTM.

"Bye", I waved him back and walked towards the entrance gate. The guards opened the gate for me. I entered inside the front yard. I saw dad's car parked in the driveway.

I am totally dead now.

I got much late. What to do? When you're in a party, you take no notice of the time. Dad's gonna be very mad at me.

I walked towards the front door and entered inside. There was no one in the living room. I sighed in relief and began to climb upstairs that....

"Where the hell were you at this hour of night Miss Siya Goenka?", I heard dad say from behind.  The tone was scary and cold.

I shut my eyes, cursing my fate and turned back, opening my eyes to see dad standing there with arms crossed over his chest and a narrow glare.

"Hi dad", I tried to be casual though fear was visible in my tone.

I descended the stairs and stood in front of him.

"I asked where the hell were you?", he asked with gritted teeth.

I gulped in fear.

Naira came out of the kitchen and stood near the couch, looking at me with concern on her face.

I ignored her look.

"I was at a friend's party", I replied with my head down.

"Naira said me that you had gone to your friend's place??", dad asked raising an eyebrow.

"Y-yeah I went to a friend's place but then we decided to go to the party ", I said shrugging my shoulders.

Naira looked at me.

"C'mon Siya. You must've had a little decency to inform us. We were so much tensed about you. If at all your phone was dead, you must've informed us through your friend's phone", dad said.

"C'mon dad. I only went to a party. There's no question of reacting like this ", I replied.

"Don't you get it, Siya. You are always on my nerves. You are not allowed to go out at night. Don't you just get it?", dad sounded frustrated.

"But why dad? Why can't I go to parties?I am grown up, ain't I?", I said trying to explain him.

"You are fourteen ", dad replied with a straight face.

"That's what. I am fourteen and fourteen is old enough ", I replied frustrated.

"Fourteen's not old enough. Do you get it? Now just shut up and go to your room. I think you have forgotten that you're grounded and now your period to be grounded will be extended. I don't wanna listen anything from you. Just get the hell out of here", dad snapped.

"I wish if mom was here", I said looking into his eyes and rushing towards my bedroom.

Naira followed me and as I was gonna open my room's door, she stopped me.

"Siya....won't you eat anything? You must be hungry ", Naira said.

"You only eat", I said and entered the bedroom, closing the door on Naira's face.

KARTIK'S POV

I entered my bedroom and slipped myself into t shirt and trousers. I got into my bed and raised the duvet till my chest. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep but couldn't sleep. Siya's words were hovering in my mind.
