Sira looked your way once Jimin and Mr Park had left the apartment.
Jimin had gotten out and told his father and excuse that he needed to go and he had left a few minutes before him, that after his son's exit had looked at you, questioned if something was wrong, thing that you denied with a smile, not wanting to make the man feel guilty for anything.
After giving you a second look and pretending that he believed you, Mr Park had bid goodnight to you and Sira, telling you both that he was happy that his sons had finally made some good choices.
Sira had accompanied him till the exit and she had returned, finding you on the couch, head hanging low as your eyes started getting filled with the tears you surpressed earlier.
"Are you crying? Really? How dare he? What did he said?! I am gonna go beat him up!" She threatened as she took a sit next to you and hugged you by the side.
"He was right. It's my fault, i triggered his suspensions." You mumbled back to her as you were wiping your tears with your sleeves.
"Oh shut up. Stop blaming yourself for everything. Who else would have done as much as you did when caught up in such a situation. What else are we supposed to do if they can't fix their problems themselves. It's logical we would interfere." She passionately supported the actions that you and her had undertaken and you looked at her knowing she was right.
From the start that you had gotten mixed in this story and the past between those two brothers, you always felt bad knowing well that they both still cared for each other and each was hurting on their own. You had from the start wanted to help and you had tried your best, this time as well it was the same. You had done what you judged to be right and if that was to make you unworthy of his trust or make him end this relationship that you had just started, then you just had to be more persistent and prove him again and again that he can trust you. However he had to do the same because you know him well enough and know how manipulative he can get.
Walking away from you like that won't be tolerated twice because you really hate it when people don't stay to talk and confront each other about whatever problems they may have and you kinda wanted him to have stayed and say that at least he would try to trust you.
But he just left. Without looking twice at you he just hurt you and walked away.
---Time skip---
Jimin opened the door to his apartment and stepped inside, closing the door behind him before switching the lights on.
As he entered into the living room, his eyes fell on the decorated table what he had prepared for the date you were supposed to have tonight. The two red candles he had placed on the middle of the table burning slowly and silently on the beautiful table he had worked on for an hour or so, trying to make it look as aestheticaly pleasing as possible from every detail, perfect.
He sighed as he approached it, his fingers touching the corner of the white table mat and feeling it's silky texture against his fingers. He stared at the burning candles for a moment, his eyes portraying a sad look just before he leaned closer and turned them off with a small blow of his breath.
The small lines of smoke that appeared after for a short while kept him staring at them for a little longer, his mind being a battlefield of thoughts and his heart having gotten filled with sadness, losing hope on himself.
How come he is really such a failure in relationships? Why even when someone that knows it all and still accepts him can't be enough to at least give her a bit of trust. He was going crazy, blaming himself.
The words he told you kept coming back in his head making him feel terrible about it because if you were someone chasing after money you could have took them long before by blackmailing him and with all the things that you knew he definitely was at your mercy but you hadn't, yet he implied of you being a gold digger on that clouded moment of thought that he was in.
