If you ask me, Im not happy.

Xian and King text me a week ago. To delete their number and forget that I know them.
That makes me so heartbroken that I tried contacting them.
I, atleast, want to know why I am being hated.
But the number cannot go through. They block me.

Not only at the phone but in the world.
A world where I can see them yet I cant be beside them.
I dont know what I did wrong.
But, that's the end of our playing 'friends', I guess.

I know I should be happy that I atleast become part of their world for a bit.
Yet Im not really happy.

Even at school, Xian doesnt even calls my name anymore nor look at me.
Like a plague that needs to be avoided.

I bit my lower lip.

"Cheer up." A guy I didnt expected to talk to me did.

"Stephen?" You are still around? Didnt you died from chapter 1?

"Why do you look so shock? Im pretty famous around here you know." He pouts and gives me a cold soda can.

Kara looks at the handsome frowning face of Xian.

She close her eyes.
She cant delude herself in dreaming.
She have to go to the hospital and...and...

"Kara, hey, open your eyes. What is wrong?" Xian ask in a worried voice.
What is this girl thinking?
She always looks distant cold and quiet that his heart wants to come and hug her but he needs to endure.

"Sir? Sir Leonard?"

"You already know my name and you still call me Sir Leonard?"
Xian angrily raise a brow.

Kara's eyes seems there is a filter in it that she cant see him thoroughly.
She avoid eye contact.
"Why are you? Go away." She weakly said pushing Xian with little strenght left to her.

"Hey. Hear me out okay. It is not like I hate you...But things are different now.. And The Boss..Just tell me whats troubling you." Xian almost grab his hair in frustration but he patiently explain.

Kara is still safeguard in Xian's embrace but Kara is not shy nor happy.

"Let me go..I need to go...hospital.."

"There's another person in your family who needs to go to the hospital? I say, arent your family a bit accident prone?"

"No.Mom..She collapse...I dont know.. I cant understand what the nurse is saying. Mom must be suffering. I wont let her die."

"Hey. Calm down. Collapsing and dying are two different things. I will drive you there."

"Listen, look at my eyes. I am Xian. Im your friend."

"Friend? You want to cut ties with me!" Kara punch Xian's chest angrily.

Xian grab her hand and sigh.
"Its temporary. Once the Boss takes you in, I will never leave you again."

Kara looks at Xian.
"Liar."

Xian doesnt know whether to laugh or cry.
Since when did he have to coax someone.
He rubs Kara's head gently and embrace her closely.
"Yes. I am a Liar. But I dont Lie to you."

"You lied again."

Xian laughs a bit.

"Mom! MOM! MOM!" Kara hugs Katherine tightly.

"Oh baby, Im sorry. Mom...Mom is such a sinful person." Then she cried.

Kara is stunned.
She looks around.
Richard looks down and avoid looking at her.

She looks at Xian.
Xian nods and grab her hand tightly giving her support.

Finally, Kara looks at the doctor.

"She's pregnant." He said nonchalantly and left before he gets involve in the drama.

Kara stares at the reddened Richard then to the pitiful sobbing Katherine.
Then she cried out loud.

Katherine and Richard panics and they coax Kara immediately.
Only Xian knows that Kara is not upset that there is a new baby. She is just terribly happy that Katherine doesnt have to die.

A/N:
