-Harry's POV-

"Calm down love." I glance over at a very anxious Ava in the passenger seat. "You'll do brilliantly. Promise."

She bites her lip and gives me a small smile as she grips my hand tightly, her knee bobbing up and down in nervousness. I watch the familiar scenery go by as I drive down the streets I've known since childhood. Holmes Chapel hasn't changed much since I was just a small lad riding my bike to band practice, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Coming home is something I rarely get to do with my busy schedule, and I miss it terribly.

This visit is special for more reasons then one. I can't wait for my mum to finally meet Ava. I've spoken of her far more than I probably should, but I just could never stop myself from telling my mum everything about her. What a talented song writer she is, how beautiful her voice is even though she insists its rubbish, how she likes her tea, that she makes banana pancakes for me even though she can't even stand the smell of them, how she can make me smile just by crossing my mind, that she bites her thumb nail when she's overthinking something, and how she covers her face whenever I make her blush. I could go on for ages about all the little things she does that mean the world to me.

But what it all comes down to is how I want her to be happy more then I've every wanted anything else, because that's exactly what she does for me. Makes me unbelievably, madly, and completely happy.

"Should I of dressed up more? I feel like I should of dressed up more. I should of worn a dress, or a skirt maybe." Ava's small voice rambles off as she smooths out her pants.

"You look lovely, now stop fussing." I chuckle at her, "She'll love you, doesn't matter what you have on."

"First impressions are important."

"Oh believe me I know. I happen to remember you running smack into me when we first met. And then you couldn't speak. Well, I guess you did stutter a bit." I smile at the memory.

"Yes, thank you for reminding me I suck at first impressions."

"I loved it. Knew right then I was going to have real and/or imaginary sex with you at some point. Thankfully it's been both." I laugh as her cheeks turns red and she holds her hand over her face.

"You have no shame!" She laughs at me, "If your mom asks how we met, please leave out the details."

"I'll do my best." I grin at her. "We're here."

I pull into the driveway, parking behind Gemma's car as I look up at the familiar two story brick house.

"Ready?" I ask, giving Av's hand a squeeze.

She takes a deep breath, "Ready as I'll ever be."

I lean across the console and give her a quick kiss before jumping out and grabbing our bags out of the boot. I meet Ava at the front of the car and lead her to the house. I feel a wave of nervousness hit me as I jog up the front steps, it really hitting me that Ava is the first girl I've ever brought home. And hopefully the only one I ever do.

The door swings open as I reach for the handle, and I'm met with Gemma's smile and a blast of warmth.

"Haz!" She exclaims, giving me a tight hug before moving onto Ava.

"It's about time my little brother brought you home!" Gemma laughs, pulling Ava inside the house as I follow. "I've all sorts of embaressing baby pictures to show you!"
