-Ava's POV-

I curse Poppy the second I step out of the apartment building.

It's cold.

Far to cold to be wearing nothing but a knee length trench coat.

I shiver and tighten my belt as I head down the sidewalk, wondering why in the world I decided the seven blocks to the pub wasn't worth calling a cab. Probably because I've never walked the streets of London on a cold night before commando. Poppy should of warned me, I'm sure she has experience doing this. Who am I kidding, she told me she had a specific coat for the job. She's not only done this before, but also managed to perfect her technique.

I stuff my hands in the pockets as the wind picks up, becoming even more unforgiving. I try to distract myself by focusing on Harry's very excited response. I'm surprised he didn't suspect the text didn't come from me. I'm not one to be blatantly sexual in my texts, so the very forward 'I'm on my way to the pub, and I'm wearing only a trench coat. Meet me out front?' should of been a clue it wasn't me who sent it.

However, the fact we are both a little drunk and aware of the others drunken state could be why he didn't question it. And when you add in how we'd spent the last several days in Australia... I have become a bit more confident with myself.

As I pass in front of an old theatre, marking the halfway point to the club, I take notice of a black limo slowing driving behind me, matching my pace.

I glance over my shoulder towards it, but the windows are to darkly tinted to see through. I can't help but replay all the late night London horror stories I've heard. Finn seemed to love recounting to us girls the dangers of being out alone at night. Half of them probably weren't even true, but right now all I can think of is which ones possibly were.

Shaking my head at myself and my ridiculous imagination, I pull the collar up on the coat, hoping to ward off more of the cold as I focus on the sidewalk ahead of me.

"Awfully late for a young woman to be walking the streets of London alone."

The familiar voice causes me to freeze in my tracks. It can't be. I look over, my eyes meeting ones I haven't seen in over a year.

"Can I offer you a ride?"

I stare back at him, my mouth falling open in shock before I finally find my voice,"Wha-What do you want?"

"To talk."

"Not interested." I continue walking even though I know he won't just go away.

"Get in the car Kelsey. Don't make me force you."

"You can't force me to do anything." I spit, opening my bag to retrieve my phone only to find it missing.

Shit. I must of left it at the apartment. Shit. Shit. Shit.

He laughs. The sound might as well be nails on a chalkboard. I can't stand it.

"Don't make this harder of yourself. Or your little boyfriend. Get in."

"Leave Harry alone." I narrow my eyes at him, stalking up to the back window of the limo. "What the fuck do you want?"

"Language Kelsey. Get in. Now."

"No. You really think I would get in a car with you?"

"You will, or you'll regret it."

"You can't do anything to me." I scoff at his threat.

"You, probably not. You're little boyfriend? Now that's a different story. Worth the risk?"

"Leave Harry alone."
