Chapter Twenty-Four- Reggie?

Jordan's pov
His hand stuck out to me as his smiled like an idiot. "My names Reggie" he waved his hand for me to take it and i willingly did. "Jordan." "Well duhhh i kinda know about you." Huh? "I'm sorry wHat?" He laughed and looked at me again. "Jordan Sky's you live.. well lived with my brother, right?" "Yea..? Who's your brother exactly?" "Why don't we go somewhere private, i don't trust it here." "No." I didn't trust this guy! You can't trust him. "You can trust me Jordan, i wouldn't hurt you." Goddamit. "That's what everyone else said." My eyes threatened to cry but i forced them back. "Look, i'll let you take us, i'll show you around, it's just me and my friend, who won't be around until tomorrow, okay? I won't touch you unless you let me." "Okay- yea okay, but how will i take you, with me?" He thought for a second and a basically saw a lightbulb over his head, "well i don't know all of your gifts but i know you can do that transmutation stuff, so all you gotta do is grab my hand, and um focus, really hard like if you're the size of a truck. It will however, drain you more than usual because it's not just you. But i think you can do it." I was beyond confused. I've never teleported anything more than myself. I thought of my parents words. You're powerful, you're strong. You're powerful, you're strong. The words repeated in my head and i nodded. I gripped onto Reggie, almost scared to let go. The scary part about this is when you go in, you can come out in two ways. One in the destination you want, or in a third dimension. I've seen it happen and it's the most terrifying thing ever.
Flashback -this part may be triggering for some viewers-
I was dragged by 7 men to a chamber where they disciplined people. I had accidentally blinded a worker by screaming so loud it broke something in their eyes. I was put in front of glass as I watched from behind a hard glass as someone with a mark similar to mine was out into the cell. J3 i read off of there ankle. "See child this is what happens when you disobey, you get consequences. This child, has done very bad things, she will be told to teleport out of the room but watch closely on this camera." David told me as he shoved a screen in my face. I didn't want to look so i moved my head away but he yanked it back. "I said. Watch what happens." His voice was stem and scary as tears left my eyes. The girl was shown in black and white on the screen and in a half second, she flashed like light. But can back, in a different form. There was skin stripped from her body to shreds as she screamed for her life. Blood dripping from every part of her body as everything around her was throbbing. She tried to leave but was stuck as thick vine like objects wrapped her down, sucking her in. She was eaten by the mouth floor as she screeched and cried, blood clogging their throat and spewing from her chest. Scared for my life i screamed and she looked at the screen, directly into my eyes like she could see me as she whispered "Help me." The vines shoved down her throat at lightning speed and inside her body, she was in the floor now, no where to be seen. She was dead. I cried for weeks, terrified as her words replayed in my dreams. "Help me."
End flashback

Tears left my eyes as i looked at the ground. "On three." I said as i shut my eyes. "One." i chanted. "Two." Reggie chanted. I took a deep breath as i exhaled i felt power around me. "Three." i whispered, just like that i saw a smoke puff of air as i appeared in a different location, i slowly opened my eyes.. i don't know this place, but i'm guessing Reggie did. Right as i let go of him, i groaned and slipped over completely nothing. Of course Reggie was already holding my shoulders as i just slipped, he flashed me to the restroom so fast i couldn't even see it. Super speed, mind reader. "Dude! Are you okay? You did it! You just fucking did it!!" He shook me by my shoulders and that's when i realized. I did it. "Holyyy Shit, i DID do it. Now where the fuck am i?" I lifted my head from looking at the ground and I heard a gasp. "Sorry, it happens when i use too much." I wiped my bloody nose and Reggie sat me on the counter. "I'm so proud of you bestieeee." He hugged me and i laughed. Bestie. That works. "I've never had a bestie before." I smiled as a tear left my face. "Well you do now!" Reggie smiled as he cleaned my nose. "Thanks Reggie.. now who are you exactly? And where am i? I didn't plan on being held hostage if this is the case." I half joked with a laugh. "Oh shoot right, um how do i put this... i'm Jakes brother, Reggie Webber." My eyes widened as i jumped from the counter backing away. "No,no you can't be, he- he-" "I'm not dead Jordan, i'm very well and i'm here." He tried grabbing my hands but i flinched back. "No... no no no you're not real, you're in my head." I closed my eyes and backed into a wall sliding down to the floor. I must've went into a third dimension. You're not real. You're not real. "Jordan please, let me explain." I looked up and it hit me. If he's with David he's dead. "Who's Dav-" I lifted him off the ground, holding a choking motion with my hand, he was gasping for air and i walked back to the couch. "Sit." I commanded and i forced him to. "You're going to sit here, speak, you have two minutes. If i find out you're a lie and you work with David, you're dead. You won't be able to read my mind anymore. I broke my boundary too much for someone i don't know, my mistake. I'm going to let go of some pressure, enough for you to talk but not move, you will not try to move, you will not try to run, understand?" My faze burned into his soul as he looked terrified for his life he nodded. I let go of just his chest as he gasped for air. "You have two minutes, go." I looked at a digital clock next to me cocked my head so it gave a countdown. Right as i looked back at Reggie i blinked, and the timer went down. "When Jake and i were kids we had just found out about our gift. We told our parents and they swore we were crazy and it was just in our imaginations. So we kept it a secret, then we abused the power. We don't get affected like you, we just get lightheaded and it doesn't even matter. One day some people in a weird program came to our door. I'm guess you call them 'David'? He broke into our house and tried to... take us. When we fought back, he um..." He started to cry. "He killed my parents. Without hesitation he... he pulled the trigger. We ran, farther than ever and when our parents left a part of us did too. We joined the A.P.P but we separated living situations at age 18, thought it was for the better. I started doing bad things and when the A.P.P found out they banned me out of state, to never speak to my brother or any of my friends again. They told Jake... i died in a car crash. They had a funeral with an empty casket... but deep down, i knew Jake didn't buy it. I'm 22 now, i miss my brother Jordan. I miss Kevin and Corey and everyone! So when i found you here, i located you, thought you would be able to help me get back." Just as he finished the timer went off. I cocked my head to turn if off, meeting Reggies blood shot eyes with my glossy ones. I let go of him and he sighed in relief. "Okay." I all i said as i sat on the opposite side of the couch. His story reminded me of mine, but he got away. I wish i did. "How'd you do it." i asked Reggie, not looking up at him, i felt his eyes burning through me but i didn't bother. "Do what?" He asked as he scooted closer to me, we were shoulder to shoulder and i didn't wanna be there. So i disappeared from his eyesight. "How'd you get away?" My voice cracked as tears left my face, i could see me but i knew Reggie couldn't. "Please come back." He begged. "I'm still here." I whispered to him and he nodded. "Jake and i used to train a lot without my parents or anyone knowing, we didn't have much friends so over time we got stronger and were able to use our gift more, as we got older new ones applied." I slowly came back to vision on the other side of him. "Teach me."
