Jordan's pov
I decided on something casual, like shorts and tee casual, if i needed to change into something for fight wear i could do that whenever. But i kind of just wanted to be a little loose fitted today. "Is what i'm wearing okay?" I asked Colby, before walking downstairs. His eyes widened slightly, before he covered his face in his hands, nodding his head quickly. "What? What's wrong with it?" I asked, joking around a little. "Nothing, nothing! You just look good, like really really good." He said shyly, before turning away to clip his chains on. I walked over to him, who was standing in front of a mirror, fixing his curls. I wrapped my arms around his waist, smiling like a whole idiot at him. "You look really good too. Like really really good." I said, meeting his eyes before taking in his outfit in the mirror. He was dressed in his dark black jeans, topped with his Balmain Paris shirt, and his usual chains going down his neck. I'm not going to lie, the red hair was definitely a look on him, bringing out his eyes in a pop, but i personally liked the original blue the best. It went well, complimenting them. Now he was with his light baby blue that i adore more than anything, but he's already talking about changing it a bit. Which i didn't mind, i know he can rock any color really, but my favorite will always be that turquoise blue. "Okay so while you guys are house hunting i'll be doing research on this weird project we have now, what time do you think you'll be back?" Cassie asked, typing away at her computer. I was still processing what she just said, i literally got back downstairs two seconds ago and she's already telling me her whole day plans. I don't even know what we're eating for lunch. "Uh maybe around like seven, seven thirty if anything." Colby answered for me, as we walked to the couch, Aryia still looking at me, knowing i was supposed to tell him about what the deal was between us. I waited for Colby to turn to Sam for something, when Aryia threw a chip at me. I shot a glare at him, as he flared his hands at me. Kevin, Reggie and Cassie leaned into a small circle, and i knew they were talking about me. "Whatcha guys doing?" Tara asked from a few spaces from me. They all paused in their spots, looking from side to side as their eyes went wide. "Aryia's pregnant." Kevin said in the most forced convincing voice he could that yes, failed miserably. "Yeah uh, those one night stands, wouldn't recommend it." Aryia said, defending Kevin's point with wide eyes. Cassie left, teleporting out of sight. Slowly, i merged over to where i assumed she was, which was near the front door. "Cass?" I whispered, looking around. "Boo!" I turned around, not finching at her attempt to scare me. "I can never scare you!" She exclaimed in a whisper, throwing her hands in the air. "Dude, literally i don't know why, i just can't get scared." She shook her head, before pulling me further away from people. "Aryia said he's suspicious about you and Colby, and now i am too, so as your bestest friend, what's going on?" She asked, as she tried to keep her voice down as low as possible. "Nothing? I don't know?" I asked, not giving her a straight answer. "What? Why are you asking? It's your relationship!" I shushed her, clamping my hand over her mouth before Tara ran over here quickly, her shoes clinking on the floor. "What're we talking about guys?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows. "About Jordan and Colbys love life" Aryia said out of fucking no were, making me groan. "Oh yeah that's kinda sus, what is going on?" Tara asked, a smile over her face. "Oh my God." I mumbled, covering my face in my hands. "We still talking about Jordan and Colbys secret but not so secret love for each other?" Reggie asked, walking over here with Kevin. How in the fuck did this one on one conversation turn into half the group gossiping about a guy that was literally in the other room. "I hate all of you guys." I said pointing to everyone. "Well if you tell us what the hells going on we won't bother you anymore!" Reggie said, making everyone nod. Everyone started talking at once at a low volume, but still overwhelming me. I felt like i was trapped in a clutter of my own mess, and i didn't even know what to say! "Oh my gosh nothing! Nothing now at least. We both agreed to take it slow this time around." I whispered the last part, composing myself to everyone. Our own little circle gathered heard everything, but i'm guessing everyone outside didn't hear my last part. "Seriously? So that's what we are? Nothing?" I almost threw up out of anxiety at the sound of Colbys hurt voice from just a few feet away. "What?" I asked, looking in his direction. Reggie moved out of the way, so that we had a clear view of each other. "I heard you, J, i heard what you said about us. And i quote 'oh my gosh nothing.. nothing now.' That sound familiar?" I scoffed at him, crossing my arms over my chest in defense. He had the audacity to even shame me if i DID say that? So what if i did? What would he have said differently? "You obviously weren't hearing me if you heard that." I barked, my gaze turning harder by the second. "Yeah man, she said-" "Stay out of this Reggie!" He yelled, taking even me by surprise. "Don't talk to him like that, ever." I snapped at him, taking a step closer to him."Why's there something going on with you two?" He asked, pointing to us. "Colby what the FUCK?" I yelled, my power over weighing the bracelet at this point. "Dude, that's so fucked up." Reggie said, shaking his head before walking away, Cassie following. "You're ridiculous Colby, that's absolutely insane." He noticed how he sounded then, and took a step back. "Look, if you feel that way fine, none of my business-" "WHAT?" I cut him off, almost screaming at this point, enraging by the second. He held his hand up, stopping me. And for a second i just wanted to chop his hand off clean. "I just thought we already went through this." He sounded hurt then, almost our relationship revolved completely around him. Which it wasn't, this was a two way thing, and he didn't sound like he knew that. But i know he did, so why was he being so damn stubborn and weird? "Whatever man, the fact that you didn't even let me finish is beyond me. And us and Reggie? I can't believe you would even ask that." I made sure to keep my ground strong, and my eyes locked onto his before he tore his away, his hand going to his face for a second. I snapped around, ready to walk out the door as i stood in front of my friends. "Well, there's your answer." I ripped the bracelet off my wrist, slapping it in Kevin's hand before walking through the circle, everyone speechless. "J, where are you going?" Aryia asked, stopping me from going with a hand on my shoulder. I snapped my head to his, forcing his hand back from me quickly. "Does it matter? I'm going to look at houses." I answered, throwing the door open with my hard gaze, the inside of me wanted to cry, and punch something or anything like that, but honestly, i was hurt. Hurt like hell. The doors closed behind me, and i didn't stop, if this meant i could get away for even a second i would take it. "God, wait don't leave." Colby said, teleporting in front of me. Well, there goes my second. I sucked up my sadness, shaking my head as i shoved past him. "It's the fact that you didn't care what i had to say, you just told everyone in there something that was on your mind when it wasn't even correct, twice. So no, i'm going. Hope you figure yourself out." I said, shrugging as i rolled my eyes, waking down the street. I didn't expect Colby to come after me the second time, and i was happy he didn't. He had to know what he did wrong, because frankly i tried fo correct what i did if anything, and he just blew me off. Whatever. I didn't have time to think too much, i had a job to do and house hunting to do. Even if it was by myself, i didn't care at this point.
