Jordan's pov
My breath was knocked out of me when i hit the floor, and i couldn't help but cry from the pain. I heard running towards me, so i tried to get up, to defend myself. But when i got a hit of their energy, i sighed out of relief, and let myself fall back down. It was hard to think, and i didn't even know what to think of. "Did we win?" I managed to ask when Sam and Kat got closer to me. They chuckled, and i saw their heads nod from the bright sun gaze that burned my sensitive eyes. "Wheres-" Kat shushed me, cutting me off. "You're draining yourself even more by speaking." I felt the need to get up. I didn't know where Colby was, or if he was hit while i was. He couldn't be dead, right? There was no way. "Colby?" I reached out to Kat, and tried to point behind me. My lack of context was irritating me, but i couldn't even speak beyond that. "Sams getting him now, he might've hit his head or something. He's out cold." There wasn't any pain in my body, just numbness i guess. I don't think i was actually injured, maybe just had my breath knocked out of me too hard. "I'm okay, let's go." I tried to get up, but Kat pushed me down, giving me a look like i was crazy. "Jordan. Are you kidding me? You've been shot like five times, what do you mean you're fine?" The pain registered just then, a whole wave of shock filling me. "Oh. Right," i whispered, as she laid her hands on me. "How hard were you going?" She asked me, as i looked over at my shoulder, to see one of the bullets pop out of my skin. The hole healed under her touch in seconds, leaving it in a fresh feeling. "A hundred percent, Kat. Always." I chuckled, and couldn't help but wondered if David would be proud of me. Did he miss me? Or was he just experimenting on other people? Was i still his number one? "Jordan, you know you don't have to go so hard all the time, right? No one is forcing you to do this anymore. You can be free, be yourself. Know who you are." I scrunched my face for a moment. "Ive never thought of that." I whispered. "It was always job after job. Yes, i hated my life. But i was always doing something. Maybe i just grew that habit of always having to be someone that i'm not. Or something. At the time i thought that was me, but looking back i think i was just a weapon." I didn't want to go on a rant, so i stopped there, looking to the side. She placed her hand on my shoulder, making me look over at her. "You have freedom now Jordan. You can finally be who you want to be. And it's okay if you don't know who that is yet, but you don't have to force yourself to be who everyone else wants you to be." I nodded, and took her words in. Who was i? I felt like i was wearing a mask, but i didn't even know who was underneath it. "You ready to go?" Kat asked, as she lifted her hands off of me. I nodded as she brought me to my feet. My initial thought was to turn to Colby, but Kat stopped me before i could. "Let's wait in the car, yeah? You're still weak." I couldn't fight if i wanted to, so i just nodded, and slugged to the car.

Sams pov
"Colby?" I asked, turning him over to his side. The side of his head was punctured in glass, and his face was terrible. "C'mon man, get up. We have to go Colby." I took the pieces of glass from his face until i couldn't see anymore, and grabbed his shoulders. "Colby im serious this isn't a time to let go. Jordan and Kat are in the car and if we don't go know i'm sure someone will find us." He wasn't budging, and i started to panic on the inside. What could i do? CPR? I pressed my fingers to his wrist, and counted his beats. I couldn't find anything irregular with them. Was he just out cold? Fuck i didnt know. I had no clue what to do in a situation like this. "C'mon man, not here. Not right now." I groaned, and tried to lift him up, but he was stuck to the floor like glue. "Colby i'm serious!" I started. "Jordan needs you man you can't give up. You can't leave her like this, you can't leave us. You can't leave me like this man, we need you. I need you." His arms were heavy, but once i got them up he came with them. I wrapped them around my shoulder, shook off the negative feeling creeping up on me, and walked to the car.
