Jordan's pov
"Such a show off." Aryia shook his head at me. "It's what i do best." I shrugged as he walked away, a smile on his face. I yawned, cracking open the can as the sweet liquid poured into my mouth. I felt someone get closer to me, assuming it was Aryia coming back. "God i forgot how good coke was." I said taking another sip. He sat next to me, leaning back in his seat. "You should try dr. pepper it's amazing." I turned to my side quickly, seeing Colby beside me and not Aryia. He laughed at me, taking a swing of his drink. I lifted my legs up, leaning my elbow on the couch. "So how was eavesdropping on me?" I went straight into the point, confronting him. His face turned a shade of red before he pulled himself up. "Just saying i don't think you need to worry about what other people think." He smiled at me, his eyes locking on mine. "Wouldn't you know i never do?" I asked, drinking my drink. "I know you don't care, but i also know that you never go down without a fight against an enemy. Even if they're the slightest threat to your life." He said, keeping his eyes on mine as he drank out of his can. "Then you'd know why i'm big on grudges." I was lying, definitely. I wasn't big on grudges, but i wanted Colby to know that i didn't forget about his so called mistake. He didn't respond for a second, but he did look away from me. "I've been wanting to talk to you about that, i want to explain myself." He whispered to me. I wasn't facing him anymore, but i could feel him facing me. "Please." He begged, his hand gazing mine for a second. "Not here and definitely not now." I said, turning back to him. It was easier to face the target in any battle, for you are more vulnerable from the backside. "Then when?" He asked softly, his eyes meeting mine again. "After all this, whats today?" I asked. "Wednesday." "Then Friday." He looked at me, tilting his head slightly. "And where would you like to go?" He asked with a smile. "Jordan come in the girls photo!" Tara squealed, pulling me up. I thought for a second before answering Colby, a smile on my face. "I like milkshakes." He nodded, pulling his phone out, "milkshakes it is." I was dragged out the living room by Tara, way stronger than she looked. We all huddled up, figuring out where and how to stand. Surprisingly, we all color matched our clothes somehow. Cassie, Xepher, Devyn and i wore some sort of red on us. And Tara, Kat, and Sirena wore some pink on them. "I feel like my cast doesn't match." I said laughing with the other girls. "It's a pop don't worry." Kat said. Jake pulled his phone out, having to crouch down to get to our level. "Okay ready?" We posed, my arms around Taras neck as i kissed her cheek, her holding my face. "One, two, three." He took the picture, the flash catching me by surprise. I was fine at first, laughing with the girls until i started to get dizzy. My head spun with flashes of the night of the car crash, and i couldn't get the look David was giving me as he was laying there, both of us surrounded by flames. "Hey J you good?" Jake asked behind the camera. I noticed i hadn't had moved since the picture was taken, but i shook the nausea off and the bad memories, and went in for another photo with a nod. I looked behind Jake for a second, and saw Colby looking at me with a worried face, he definitely saw. I smiled, before turning back to Jake. "Ready? One, two, three." I smiled as the flash went off, but kept my steady until the phone was pulled away. That's when everything came flying at me. Why was such a sudden thing sticking to me? I've seen much worse than this, why was i being effected by a car crash. The more i thought about it the more clouded my head felt. I stumbled to the counter, holding myself up as my eyes watered in fear. I slowly began to break down into my own skin, i hated reliving everything over and over until it was burned deeper into my skin. I heard people calling me, before a set of hands held me. I couldn't even recognize who it was, my mind couldn't process anything. I blacked out for a second, there was a cool breeze when i snapped out of it, my breathing slowing down. "Where am i?" I looked around me frantically, taking in my surroundings. "You're okay, it's okay, we're just outside on Sams balcony right now okay?" I rubbed my eyes as i'm now being held in a hug, my shock shaking me slightly. "What happened back there J?" Colby asked me, holding me by my face. I looked up at his broken eyes, begging for me to answer. "I can't- i can't get him out of my head." I was almost sobbing, biting my nails to distract myself. His thumbs came up to wipe my tears away carefully as i trembled, my emotions taking over me. "I'm here for you, okay? Always." He looked into my eyes carefully; he was telling the truth. Colby pulled my hands away from my face as i nodded. "Okay." He hugged new again, his hands holding me in place while mine laid limp by his sides. I couldn't move if i wanted to, and i didn't want to. "Is this okay?" He asked in more of a jokingly tone. "Is what okay?" I asked. "Touching you." I could see the smile on his face, usually i didn't let him come close, mainly because i was scared, or mad. I guess i was a little less of both right now. "Yeah, this is okay." I brought my other arm up around him, squeezing my eyes shut. "Can we go?" I asked him, looking up to meet his eyes. "Of course." He was about to lead me inside when i just teleported, bringing him with me. He stumbled when we ended up in his living room before looking around. "Jeez you're good at that." He walked into the kitchen as i made my way to his couch. "You could take my bed until yours gets here tomorrow." Colby said sitting next to me, handing me a cup of water. "Well it wouldn't be your bed if i'm sleeping in it would it?" I asked. "Woah there Sky's, are you trying to steal my bed or sleep with me?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows. I shook my head. "Neither." I laughed out. "See, there's that smile." He poked my side, smiling at me. "I can take the couch." I said, standing my ground. "Well that wouldn't be very man like of me would it?" "I could smell the sarcasm off of you." I said, fake gagging to add on. His phone went off, directing his attention to it. He groaned, throwing his whole body back on the couch dramatically. "What did Sam say?" I teased, smiling at him. "How did you know it was Sam?" He asked looking up at me. "You only do an over exaggerated groan with that tone when you're thinking of Sam. Or me of course." I smiled, setting my glass down. "You know so much." "Not really i just have a tendency to pick apart core details about people." He looked at me, his eyebrows scrunching. "Why is that?" He asked as i looked away from him. "I wasn't around people for so long Colby, my head runs wild all the time and it only takes a small thing like a camera flash to bring it back to the surface. It's what i distract my mind with that helps me." He nodded, but i felt like he didn't quite get my point. Yet i didn't expect him to. How could he possibly know what it was like? "Anyways what did Sam say?" I changed the subject, not wanting him to ask more questions about myself that could set something in me off. Not today at least. "We have to be up early to leave tomorrow." I groaned this time, rolling my eyes as he laughed. "How early is early?" I asked. "Like seven early." Oh, that wasn't too bad. "Oh okay, so i get to sleep in longer than usual." I mumbled. "What time are you usually up by?" He asked as he messed his hair up. "Uh four i think. I was waken up at four usually, but my brain kinda wakes itself up at seven anyways so i'm okay with it." "Four?! In the morning? Oh my God." He said sighing. "Okay i get it, now go!" I lifted him from his spot, standing him up right as he squealed. "I said i would take the couch." He pouted, crossing his arms. "Whoopsies." I took my shoes off, wrapping myself in his blanket before waving. "You're just going to bed? You're not going to change or anything?" I groaned, sitting up just to hold my hand out. I brought my toothbrush to me along with Colbys toothpaste that i assumed was from his restroom. I brushed my teeth, him shaking his head at me. "How are you going to-" I held my hand up, cutting him off as i waved my hand out, making a small portal to the sink as i spit out, and set the stuff down. "See? All good here." I said as i clasped my hands together, closing it shut. "I wish i had what you could do." Colby said, taking my cup and setting it in the sink. "It's a gift and a curse." I said, laying my head back down. "Goodnight then." He mumbled walking to his room. "Go to bed Brock, i know it's hard for you to sleep but you need it tonight more than ever." I kept my eyes closed as i waved at him, hearing him snicker. "You too, love." I heard him whisper, my thoughts already scrambling as i drifted away. Love? Love.
