"No, you need the mitts. You need them," Eric's voice greeted Madelline as soon as she entered the cafeteria.

Her eyes scanned the cafeteria before landing upon Jasper's table. The whole family smiled at her which she returned softly; however, when she met Edward's, her smile quickly faded away and looked away almost immediately.

She looked away from their table and continued walking to her table. Back to Jasper's table, Emmett snickered at what happened while Rosalie sent Edward a smirk. Alice and Jasper who who saw the entire interaction as well couldn't help but stifle their laughter as their brother looked around the table, bemused.

"Hey," Bella softly called out to Madelline when she neared them. Madelline stopped right behind her and sent her a smile, placing her hand on the back of her chair as she looked around the group.

"Madelline! La Push baby, you in?" Eric invited her. He wiggled his eyebrows up and down at her in an attempt to entice her, but Madelline only tilted her head to the side in confusion at the foreign words.

"Is that some type of a beach or what?" She asked, confusion evident in her eyes.

"They said it's down by the Quileute rez," Bella answered. Madelline immediately brightened up at the sound and immediately nodded. She doesn't know why but the reservation pulls her in for some reason. She always wanted to visit it.

"We're planning to go tomorrow," Angela told her.

"There's a big swell coming in!" Jessica squealed, the excitement of paddling out written all over her face and body movements.

Madelline placed her bag down between Angela and Bella, pulling out her wallet before walking away. "Where are you going?" Angela asked, halting her from further walking.

"To get food! I'm famished."

She looked around the variety of foods displayed in front of her, feeling her stomach grumble for the nth time. "Oh hush, I'll feed you. Give me a minute," she mumbled to herself. A smile appeared on her lips when she spotted the pizza and placed it immediately on her plate, including two cups of fruits.

"Iced coffee for a certain girl?" A southern accent broke her out of her train of thought. She looked up and saw Jasper smiling widely at her with an iced coffee in his hand. Her smile grew bigger at the sight of the drink and almost felt her heart jumping out of her chest in delight.

"For me?" She asked, her eyes flickering back and forth between the iced coffee in his hand and the boy in front of her.

"No, it's for Bella, actually. Of course it's for you!" Jasper chuckled. Madelline laughed and took the iced coffee from him, thanking him with a smile still etched on her lips. Madelline's sweet smile made his insides melt. It was as if he was her favorite person in the world. He couldn't help but reciprocate the vibe back as they move by the side.
