chapter fifty-eight

the wedding venue was absolutely stunning. it almost looked magical to madelline's eyes as she eyed everything, her eyes scanned the area to make sure everything was perfect. she couldn't risk one of her friend's special day going to waste.

"hey, those flowers are supposed to be put on aisle four not two!" she exclaimed before walking away to fix the mess.

jasper watched afar with alice beside him, hands tucked inside his pockets with a loving grin on his face as he watched his girlfriend. he tried to help but the brunette didn't want to be disturbed and it seems as if she had everything under control.

"careful there, she might melt under your gaze" alice teased her bestfriend before lightly nudging his arm.

"i'm not gazing, i'm staring!" he tried to defend himself but was only shot down when he met alice's challenging look.

"i'm really happy for the both of you," alice told him, sipping on her tea.

"thank you," he replied, letting out a soft but happy smile on his lips.

"you deserve everything in this world jazz and i know maddy is the one who will give you the world. heck, she is your world!"

jasper only chuckled at how right she was and looked back at his girlfriend who stood in the center, clad in her casual clothes while her hair fall messily behind her back yet she still stood out among the rest and remained the most beautiful to his eyes.

bella soon came at the house to which alice and madelline quickly noticed before bidding goodbye to jasper and left to help bella get ready.

"what did i tell about beauty sleep?" alice lightly scolded the soon-to-be bride as she put foundation on her face.

madelline lightly chuckled as she cleaned bella's nails and placed a nail polish on them. she decided to help with minor details which means many things because alice took care of major things which were arranging what the venue will look like and bella's makeup and dress.

"i bet that's wedding jitters," madelline commented, teasing bella with her playful looks before finishing up.

rosalie finished with her hair, putting it up into an elegant updo, leaving a few hair at front that emphasized bella's facial structure. renee and charlie soon walked in, a smile plastred on their faces. charlie looked at her daughter, debating whether or not on convincing bella to turn back but he was fully aware how edward makes her happy.

the three girls decided to dress up so they could meet their relatives outside and greet them before the party could start.

madelline exited the room, clad in a lilac fitted dress that had a slight slit by her left leg that showed her flawless ivory skin, a white pointed pumps that fitted snug to her feet. alice picked everything out so she didn't have time to complain against her choice of dress but she admits that the dress looked amazing on her.

rosalie decided to focus the makeup on her already defined features, deciding to put madelline's hair up into a mid ponytail after straightening her hair—much to her dismay.

jasper stood right outside, waiting for his girl as he noticed the venue was slowly filling up with people that he knew, vampire or not. he only gave them a brief smile as he waited patiently for madelline.

someone lightly coughed behind him, making him turn around, but what he saw made him sare in awe. he couldn't help but stare at his girl and indulge the marvelous sight in front of him. madelline looked utterly beautiful in her lilac dress and he couldn't help but stare at her more.

"easy there tiger," she laughed. "take a picture it'll last" she winked, snapping jasper out of his daze.

he grinned at her direction before walking up her, his eyes were filled with love that anyone standing miles away can see it pouring out of his eyes.

"you do know it's bad to look more beautiful than the bride right?" jasper remarked, holdingout his hand for her to hold.

"oh shush you," she internally blushed at his words as they walked down the aisle, seeing the denali coven just near them. their eyes lit up at the sight of the hybrid and immediately walked up to them.

"hi, i'm carmen" the girl in brown hair walked up to her and greeted her, hugging her in the process.

"i'm eleazar," the man next to her introduced, sending a warm smile towards her.

"nice to meet you, i'm madelline" she gave them a smile, a warmth feeling covering her stomach as she greeted a close friends of their coven.

"i'm tanya; and she's kate, and she's irina" the more mature-looking one introduced, sending her a smile while irina looked at her uncomfortably.

she sent irina a small smile before continuing a conversation with the denalis, sharing a nice conversation as they waited for the groom to come.

soon, the wedding started with 'a thousand years' playing in the background. madelline was happy to see her friend marrying the one she truly loves. it may be soon but she was glad bella found her soulmate at the early age.

she watched the two shared vows to each other, her eyes glistened with dry tears and a happy smile painted her lips. and as soon as they shared a kiss, she couldn't be more any happier for the two as she intertwined her fingers with jasper's.

the rest of the day ended in pure ecstasy as she and jasper danced their evening while the pack that came was only seth as he was the only one who was really close with all of them. she enjoyed the evening to say the least even though there were family dramas here and there.

but what's a wedding without a family drama anyways?
