Unlocking these parts and this character can be difficult. I'll explain how to unlock them.
Gold Mario: You must claim a Gold Trophy in ALL Cups, including the 200cc class.
Gold Standard: Claim at least a One-Star rating on all Mirror Cups.
Gold Tires: Beat ALL 150cc Staff Ghosts, including in the Egg, Triforce, Crossing, and Bell Cups.
Gold Glider: Collect 5000 coins.
Do all of those requirements, and you will get yourself some gold.
