Clementine's POV
A few minutes ago
Clem: Okay. Just take your time. And keep moving forward.
You all walk across the bridge and over to the truck. You climb over the truck and walk up to a part that has a giant gap in the floor. You slowly walk up to the gap and you look down to see the river.
AJ: That's...far.
Tenn: Really far.
Louis: I think we can jump it.
Clem: Yeah, I think we can. We just gotta be careful not to land too hard.
You hear someone singing from behind you.
???: Never mind the darkness... Never mind the storm...
You all turn around.
???: Never mind the blood-red moon...
You see Minerva carrying Retribution over her shoulder.
Minerva: The night will be over soon.
Tenn: Minnie!
He steps closer, but stops when he sees a flare going through the sky. You raise your eyebrow.
Clem: What the hell?
Minerva: I did it! I found you! Oh, Tenn... My sweet little brother. Come with me.
Tenn backs up.
Tenn: You're dying.
Minerva: Yes! Yes, I am. I'm finally going someplace better. I want you there with me.
Tenn: Where everyone gets to be a person again...
Tenn starts stepping closer to Minerva.
Minerva: We're gonna go be with Mom, and Dad, and Sophie. Together. It won't be real if you're not there.
Clem: Tenn, snap out of it! She wants to kill you!
Tenn: I...I know, but I--
*BANG!*
Minerva shoots at the sky, but, luckily, the herd's loud growling is enough to muffle the gunshot for the walkers.
Minerva: Don't you fucking speak to him! Any of you.
You all take cover behind the truck.
Louis: Minnie, c'mon, stop!
Minerva: He needs to be with his family.
Clem: Don't do this.
Minerva: Don't worry, Tenn. She can try to stop me. But I'm not going anywhere without you. The night will be over soo--
A/N: Start playing the song at the top.
Your POV
You tackle Minerva to the ground. You start punching her in the face over and over again. You see Retribution on the floor. You grab it and you hit her with the knob, making her dizzy.
You ready Retribution and you start beating her head in. The crack of Retribution echoes through your ears.
Minerva's eye pops out of her skull. You hit her one last time, killing her instantly.
You stand up and you start panting.
Tenn: Minnie!
You look over to see Louis holding Tenn back.
You: Throw him across!
He does so. Louis and Tenn make it over to the other side.
Clem and AJ climb over the truck and run up to you.
Clem: Y/N!
She and AJ hug you.
You look at all the walkers behind you. They're still distracted by the flare.
Clem and AJ pull out of the hug.
Clem: Come on, Y/N. We just gotta get across!
You keep staring at the walkers.
Clem: Y/N?
You sit down and lean against the truck.
Clem: Y/N, what are you doing?!
You: Clem...you and AJ gotta go.
Clem: What?! What are you talking about?!
You sigh.
You: I was hoping that we could've done this somewhere quieter.
Clem: I don't understand!
You can't hide it any longer.
You slowly lift up your shirt and pull off a bandage to reveal a bite mark. Clem's eyes widen. You put the bandage back on and you put your shirt down. You lean your head back on the truck.
Clementine and AJ fall to their knees.
