"I'm surprised Taeyong even allowed us to get ice cream"

Haru chuckled, she was visiting the local ice cream parlor near the dream hide out. Accompanied by Jaemin, Haechan and-surprisingly- Renjun.

The four of them were left since Jisung, Chenle and Jeno had some job to do, leaving the other's in boredom.

"Did you already finish reading your book Renjun?"

"No, but I thought I could use a break"

Haru nodded at the elder's words, he had been coped up in his room barely even making contact with them. The only time she would see him were in her late night marathon's with Jaemin and their meal together.

"Wait so how did Haru and Hyuck meet?"

The pair exchanged a look before chuckling to themselves. Haru let out a snort making the other three look at her in concern.

"We basically almost killed eachother..."

"WHAT?!"

"In my defense! I though she was someone else!"

Haru rummaged through the top cabinet, using the kitchen counter as her stool. It had been approximately 2 hours since she and Jaemin finished their daily Netflix marathon.

The week was surprisingly peaceful, no one bothered them as much. She was rather close to the group now, Jaemin and Jeno in particular.

Jisung would ocassionally talk to her, so does Chenle. Renjun was still coped up in his room but made the effort to say 'hi' to the girl once in a while.

Though if Haru was being honest, she had really wanted to meet the infamous Lee Donghyuck. He sounded fun to be around from their stories.

As Haru weighted down her choice on the final chips she had decided to eat, she could hear the front door burst open.

Her heart hammered against her chest, she grabbed the nearest sharp object next to her-which happened to be a fork-and stalked out of the kitchen.

"What are you doing?"

Haru turned around, fork pointed at the intruder. She felt the cold blade pressed against her neck making her gulp.

"Oh my fucking god! Haru I almost killed you!"

"You know me?"

"Yeah! I'm Lee Donghyuck or just Haechan"

Haru grinned finally meeting the famous boy among the dream members.

"So could you please lower the fork? It's scaring me"

"Dude! You have a knife pressed against me!"

"I mean who sneaks out at like what? 3 in the morning with no lights on in the kitchen?"

"Who doesn't?"

Jaemin and Renjun nodded at the girl's words, leaving Haechan to fend for himself. He opened his mouth to speak before he was interrupted by tires screeching from the outside.

"Is that Jisung?"

"Oh my gosh that IS Jisung"

The four of them ran out of the shop and next to the boy as he got out the car.

"I thought you guys have a job?"

"We do"

Jisung wiped the sweat from his forehead, his signature white shirt stained with red and dirt.

"For now we have to go"

As if in cue two more cars stopped in front of them, they rolled down their windows to reveal both Jeno and Chenle.

The latter grinned at them motioning for them to get in. Haru, Jaemin, Renjun and Haechan exchanged confused glaces when a table behind them blew up.

All of them scrambled to get into a car, Haru once again being left alone with Jisung. He pressed the gas, making sure no one is in the way before following after Chenle and Jeno.

What? Is this some kind of action movie now?!

Seriously tho...why is this book full of car chase? ️🤦‍♀️
