Hisoka cleared his throat, trying to ignore the slight blush he felt burning his cheeks. Would he ever get used to having somebody that truly cared for him and wanted to be around him? It still felt so foreign.
"This stuff is really *hic* good." Kinta tried to stifle her giggle with her hand.
He smiled at her, cocking his head as he watched her swirl the drink in her hand. "Perhaps we should head back to the room~?"
Kinta nodded tightly before knocking back the rest of her drink and turning to slide out of the bar stool. Hisoka's eyes went wide, he hadn't expected her to simply down the rest of the drink, she probably didn't know that they could take the glasses with them. He looked down at his own drink, there wasn't much left there anyways. He shrugged before knocking back the rest of his drink as well and grabbing the bottle before following Kinta down the hallway towards the rooms, they were celebrating after all.
She giggled as Kinta walked in front of him, not quite walking a straight line as they made their way back to the room. Even Hisoka was starting to feel the effects of the alcohol, he was surprised she could still walk at all considering how much of a light weight she'd been in the past. He smiled fondly at the memory of their first time drinking together back at Heavens arena. When they'd left the arena, they'd been nothing more than teacher and student. Friends at best. But now, they would be returning to the place as lovers.
Lovers. The word bounced around in his somewhat foggy mind as they finally reached their room, Kinta fumbled with the key for a moment before finally getting the door unlocked. She walked into the middle of the room, turning back to give him a drunken smile as the moonlight illuminated her golden red hair behind her. Her bright green eyes shone in the dim lighting as she did a little twirl in the middle of the room, obviously enjoying the relaxed sensation from the alcohol. A new word suddenly popped into his head.
Girlfriend. Kinta was his girlfriend. He'd never used that word before, the thought had never really crossed his mind. She wasn't just his student, his toy or a pet- she was all of that and more. She was his and only his, forever.
Her loud laugh as she flopped onto the floor snapped Hisoka out of his thoughts. "You could sit in a chair or on the bed you know~"
"Hmm- the floor just feels more- stable-" Kinta murmured as she patted the ground around her.
Hisoka almost burst out in a loud laugh as he watched her repeatedly touch the floor, as if she had to make sure it was firm enough to support her. Maybe he'd gotten her too drunk. He sighed as he sat cross-legged on the floor in front of her, setting the bottle on the ground next to him.
"So~" Hisoka purred as he adjusted himself on the floor. "You're going to start calling me master now hmm~?" He chuckled lightly as Kinta's face got even redder with embarrassment.
"Well- you mentioned it before when you first put this collar on me." She motioned to the golden heart lock on her collar. "And- well-" She rubbed the back of her neck as she shyly looked away from him. "To be honest, it kinda just slipped out at first but- every pet has an owner right? Or a master?"
"You're adorable~" Hisoka smiled as he reached down to grab his glass, blinking when he realized he didn't have one. "I forgot to grab a couple glasses~"
"We can just drink from the bottle." Kinta shrugged.
He clicked his tongue at her as he not-so gracefully got to his feet. "That's sacrilege~"
She blinked at him. "Hisoka- we kill people for fun? And you're calling drinking whiskey from the bottle sacrilege?"
"Yes." He nodded tightly, trying not to show that it felt like the floor was rolling as he carefully made his way to the kitchen. "We've gotta have some class Kitten~"
"Wait Hisoka!" Kinta suddenly yelled, slamming her hands down on the floor so hard it made him jump.
"What~?"
"If I'm calling you master now, does that mean I can't switch on you anymore?!"
"Pfft~" Hisoka stifled his laugh with his hand. "Of course you can, it would get pretty boring if we didn't change it up every now and then~" He chuckled as he moved to the cabinet above the small mini fridge and grabbed a couple glasses.
When he came back out to the living room, Kinta was laying on her back on the floor. He paused, looked at the cups in his hand and back at his pet that looked like she might pass out on the spot, and silently walked back and put the bottle away, filling the glasses with water instead.
"You get pretty goofy when you're drunk, you know that~?" Hisoka chuckled, setting the glass of water down next to her before sitting on the foot of the bed and sipping at his. "Why are you laying on the floor~?"
"The room is spinning." Kinta spoke bluntly as she stared at the ceiling above her. "Hey!" She suddenly rolled over and scrambled up like she was going to get to her feet, lost her balance and promptly fell back on her butt on the floor.
Kinta blinked a couple times and then giggled at herself before speaking again. "Show me one of your magic tricks!" She clasped her hands together excitedly.
"Why~?" He cocked an eyebrow at her before taking another sip of his water. "Drink some water sweetheart~"
"Because I love your magic tricks." Kinta pouted slightly like she thought he wouldn't show her something as she picked up her glass and downed half her water.
Hisoka couldn't help but chuckle at her, her cheeks where bright red from the alcohol and it made her green eyes stand out in the dim room. Kinta looked up at him with big eyes, almost pleading with him. It was adorable. He smiled as he reached out and ruffled her hair free of her loose ponytail, her golden red locks falling forwards over her face.
"Of course kitten~" The magician murmured as he reached into his pocket and pulled out his deck of cards.
Kinta scooted forward on the floor, cocking her head and grinning from ear to ear as she watched him pull the deck out of its sleeve and start shuffling them through his hands. A girl who loved his need for bloodshed and his magic tricks? What more could a man ask for? Hisoka smiled, watching her as she watched his cards.
"As you can see~" he made sure to show her the cards as he shuffled them through his hand. "This is an ordinary deck of cards~"
She nodded excitedly before finally looking up at him, swaying a little as she did so.
"Now I'm going to shuffle them, you tell me when to stop~" He murmured as he began shuffling the cards quickly through his hands, Hisoka had done this trick so many times that he could still perform it perfectly, even drunk.
"Stop." Kinta chimed, cocking her head as he held out her card.
It was the queen of hearts, but Hisoka already knew that. "Alright, now I'm going to add this back to the deck~" he slipped the card in a random place in the deck. "And I'm going to turn this whole deck into your card~"
Kinta giggled as she watched him flick the front of the deck before shuffling it through his hands again. He smiled mischievously as he spread the cards in his hand and flipped them over so she could see the whole deck.
"Is this your card~?"
Her eyes lit up as she clasped her hands together excitedly, seeing her queen of hearts had taken over the whole deck.
"You're so fast!" She exclaimed happily. "That's so cool! I love watching your tricks."
A small blush began to form on his cheeks, dammit why did she have to be so cute? "It's funny that you choose the queen of hearts~" Hisoka murmured quietly.
"Oh?" Kinta cocked her head. "Why?"
He reached out, almost leaning out of his seat on the bed as he hooked a finger under her chin and pulled her closer. "Because your the queen of my heart~"
She blinked for a second, before a deep blush spread over her entire face like a wildfire. "I- A- Hisoka! That's so ccuuutteeeee!"
He pulled away from her, a deep blush burning his cheeks as well, had he really just said that? Hisoka really was drunk.
Kinta slopply scrambled to her feet, wrapping her arms around him as they both tumbled backwards onto the bed. "You're adorable." She murmured against the crook of his neck as she straddled his waist.
Hisoka sighed happily as he wrapped his arms around her waist, letting her lay on top of him as he took in her sweet citrus scent. This was what he'd always craved, companionship. Somebody that accepted him for who he was, Kinta not only accepted him- she loved him for it. And he loved her, Kinta was his. He'd never be alone again, not with his kitten by his side. She'd be his pet, lover and queen. Forever.
