Kinta

Kinta's footsteps echoed through the empty hallways as she briskly walked. Chills running down her spine, making the hair on the  back of her neck stand on end as she tugged her sweater hood over her head. She didn't have an explanation for what she was feeling but, that woman who'd tried to check in on her before Hisoka's fight started had never stopped staring at her. As the match started, the sensation had become stronger, a steady stream of what Hisoka had previously explained to be bloodlust, seemed to ooze over her skin. Kinta had done her best to ignore it, thinking at the very least the woman wouldn't try anything in the middle of a crowded arena. That is until she'd realized that the woman wasn't the only one watching her. Several people, from various places around the ring watched her with the same intense gaze. And they all had been slowly making their way closer to her.

Not wanting to become trapped, or a nuisance to Hisoka during his fight, Kinta had chosen to leave. She'd planned on heading back to the room and staying there until the magician had returned. But as Kinta got close, she'd seen two men seeming to be laying in wait as they hovered just outside the magicians room. Kinta had tried to tell herself that she was just being paranoid, but every instinct in her had screamed not to go near the room. So now, she was stuck, aimlessly wandering the halls, trying to figure out what she should do. All the while, the strangers seemed to be closing in on her. How she knew that, Kinta wasn't sure. It was like she could feel the strangers presence despite not being able to see them. The feeling of being followed and watched put her whole body on high alert.

She rounded a corner, only to stop in her tracks when she saw the same two men from earlier striding down the hallway. One was shorter with a heavy build, dressed mostly in black with dark hair and piercing blue eyes. The other was much taller, leaner build with dark skin and shaved head. Kinta didn't need to feel their bloodlust, she could see it in their eyes.

She quickly turned around, heart pounding in her ears as she hurried down the hallway again and took a different turn before they caught up. Where should she go? What should she do? It's not like she could call Hisoka, he was fighting right now. And Kinta still wasn't entirely convinced that she wasn't just being paranoid.

She paused at a pair of double metal doors with Cafe printed above it. This must be where customers and fighters come to eat, hopefully this place would be swarming with people once Hisoka's fight was over. If she could hide here until then, she could use the cover of the crowd to sneak back to the room and find Hisoka. Kinta could hear the two men's footsteps coming down the hall as she slipped through the metal doors as quietly as she could, her heart dropped when she realized the place was empty, not even all the lights were turned on. Hisoka's fights really were popular.

But their footsteps were too close for Kinta to slip back out now, she scurried to the darkest part of the room, the kitchen. She found the darkest corner she could, squeezing herself between cabinets, hidden behind a wall just as she heard the metal doors slam open.

"Kinta!"

"Kinta!" The man with bright red hair, his gravelly voice booming through the dark space. "Get out here, now!"

"Are you serious?!" One of the men called, Kinta covered her mouth with her hands. Trying to muffle her gasp, trying to focus on the present and not the memory her mind was playing through her head. "You didn't even try to hide your presence?!"

Hisoka had mentioned something called Zetsu? But he didn't explain how it was done.

"You can't hide from me." The gravelly voice rang through her head, barely audible over her pounding heart. A small whimper escaped her lips as she clasped her hands tighter over her mouth. "I can sense you."
