Kinta
"What the hell is his problem?" Kinta grumbled as she left the hotel through the back entrance, she'd sensed the aura not long after Hisoka left. But she had no interest in fighting in their hotel room.
She walked silently down the dark back alley, flaring her aura on occasion to lure the person in. There was a condemned factory not far from here, she planned on leading the enemy there to fight. Kinta had to admit, even she was a little disappointed in herself. The aura was fairly strong, even seemed vaguely familiar.
"I can't believe I didn't notice you sooner." She murmured quietly, finally arriving at the condemned factory. She moved towards the basement, it was mostly an open space with rows of pillars supporting the cracked cement floor above. It was dark outside now, so the moonlight peeking through the cracks only showed so much of the room, Kinta planned on using that to her advantage. She moved to the far side of the room, concealing herself in the shadows and released her Zetsu, waiting for the only door to the basement to open.
The metal door creaked loudly before slamming shut again. Kinta listened to the light footsteps slowly approach her before stopping in the middle of the room, the person had stopped just before they entered a beam of moonlight.
"Hello, Kinta-" The voice called.
Kinta's heart skipped a beat, that voice was too familiar.
"That is your real name right?" Hoseki stepped into the stream of moonlight. "Or would you rather die as Risa?"
Kinta took a deep breath, trying to calm the shivers of anticipation running up her spine. "Hoseki-" She finally breathed her name. "You came to find me afterall? I was starting to wonder if you'd ever show up." Kinta let her gaze travel over the girl in front of her.
Hoseki wore a strange, skin-tight, shiny, purple suit and white leather boots as well as gloves. Her purple hair was pulled up into a tight bun. The only weapon she appeared to have on her was a dagger strapped to her thigh.
"You've gotten stronger." Kinta smiled as she finally stepped into her own beam of light, Hoseki's eyes widened slightly as the two girls sized each other up. Kinta hadn't recognized Hoseki's aura because it was so much stronger than the last time she'd seen her. Not only that but her body had bulked up with muscle as well, even though the long sleeved bodysuit covered most of her olive skin, it was so tight that Kinta could see every curve and cut of muscle.
"So have you." Hoseki murmured before  dropping to her fighting stance. "You know why I'm here, I'm going to avenge Sensei Kai."
"What about Buru?" Kinta smiled cruelly and cocked her head.
"Don't you dare say his name! Don't say either of their names!" Hoseki snarled. "Buru was an idiot, I told him not to get mixed up with that stranger from your family. But he didn't listen."
"Sure is frustrating." Kinta purred. "When people just don't want to listen to you."
"Shut up!" Hoseki roared again. "I don't care what your reasons were, you killed my master and my best friend in cold blood! I buried them Ris-Kinta!" 
"Some people never learn I suppose." Kinta sighed and gave Hoseki one last look, her chest constricted painfully for a moment. Hoseki was here to kill her, which meant it was very likely that Kinta would have to kill her  for the sake of self defense. It's not that she'd developed feelings for the girl, but she didn't exactly want to kill her either. She stretched her hand towards the girl, curing her fingers in a "come here" motion.  "Well? Are you going to fight me or stand  over there and yell at me all night?"
"Fine!" Hoseki cried, stretching her hand towards Kinta with her palm out and bracing her arm with her other hand.
Kinta's blood drained from her face, she recognized that form. Her brothers had a similar pose before they attacked with their abilities, did Hoseki have similar abilities? The palm of her hand seemed to glow for a moment before a ball of bright orange aura was formed, just as quickly as it formed the ball of energy was hurtling towards Kinta. She rolled to the side just before it hit her, but when the ball made contact with the pillar behind her, it exploded on impact. The force of the explosion almost knocked Kinta off her feet and sent bits of rubble falling from the cracked flooring above.
'Oh shit.' Kinta thought as she dodged yet another explosion ball. 'Hoseki is an emitter, emitters have the advantage in closed spaces and prefer range attacks. And I've just locked myself in a very tight space with a girl-' She dodged another ball, doing her best to avoid the worst of the falling rubble as well. 'Who can create fucking explosions from her hand!!' Kinta narrowly dodged another explosion, but the force of it sent her flying backwards. She managed to get her feet under her again, hunching down as she continued to slide backwards from the force of the explosion. She activated her claws and sunk them into the floor to stop herself before having to roll to the side to avoid yet another explosion ball.
Kinta lunged while Hoseki was powering up another ball again, but Hoseki was quick. She dodged Kinta's attack, whipping out her dagger and managed to slash her shoulder before Kinta rolled away again.
"Are you going to run from me all night or are you going to fight me?" Hoseki pointed her blade at Kinta as her blood dripped off the tip.
Kinta could feel her bloodlust oozing off of her and Hoseki, they didn't feed off each other like her and Hisoka did. But it still sent shivers of excitement down her spine and she smiled at the girl. "I'm just having a little fun."Kinta purred.
"Ugh!" Hoseki yelled frustratedly. "Get serious already! I'm going to kill you, Kinta!"

Hey guys! Sooo why are people thinking the story is over when they get to the latest update? 😅 I promise you'll know when it's over, I'll put "The End" in big bold letters at the last chapter. But that won't be for quiet a while yet.
