Because Ethiopia was never colonized in the scramble for Africa, she is a badass
Few can best her in battle, and even those fights would be close
Also, she would be the mother figure to African union and the younger African countries
(also she and Liberia sometimes hang out and talk about not being colonized by the Europeans, but tbh Liberia was kinda colonized by America, or at the very least colonized by freed slaves from America, but i am unsure of Liberia was really under the control of the us)
