-

I see him everywhere I go.
He's like a ghost that follows in my shadow.
His scent is still on me,
And his warmth keeps lingering in my body.

-

The common room was completely empty.
The only sound that could be heard was the ticking clock hanging on the cold stone wall in front of me, and the fierce fire glistening in the fireplace.

The black leather couch underneath me bounced as I flopped back defenseless.

I had just kissed Draco.

I didn't know where the boy went, all I knew was I was left in the common room, empty.
I was left feeling empty.

the moonlight was shining through the small windows, and the rain still pouring down violently.

I refused to talk to Pansy about what had happened. Talk to anyone for that matter.

The whole day I had been quiet, afraid of doing something regretful again.

Even though I regretted what I had done, I still couldn't bear to shake off the sweet taste of his lips.

To shake off the feeling of his touch.

Suddenly a shrieking voice could be heard, echoing through the empty common room.

"Merlin's beard, Elaine!" Blaise said, surprised at my essence.

I quickly looked up and met eyes with the golden boy, his eyes were tired and he was only wearing sweatpants.
My eyes trailed down his toned body, and I quickly cleared my throat uncomfortably.

"Sorry, I didn't think anyone was awake" the boy admitted, sitting down beside me.
I gave him an apologetic smile, a rosy tint could be seen on his normally dark skin.

"What's up with you?" He asked.
I gulped at his question, unknown of what to answer.

"You haven't talked all day, Pansy is worried, you know?" He continued.

It was hard keeping it a secret from Pansy, she was my best friend after all.
I was just scared that if she knew, she wouldn't be the only one.
Secrets turn into rumors and rumors turn into truth - therefore nobody could know what or who I had done.

"Do you know where Malfoy is?" I asked silently, ignoring his question.

"Malfoy? Why do you want to know where Malfoy is?" He asked, spectating my facial expressions carefully.
I ignored his question again and instead gave him a pleading look with my eyes.

Blaise let out a long sigh before answering.
"Astronomy tower" was all that came out of his mouth before he lazily walked back to his dorm.

Once again I was left alone in the dark, cold, common room.

-

"Come on, Elaine!" Pansy yelled, dragging me with her.

We were on our way to the goblet of fire to see the older students put their names in the roaring blue flames.

The rain was pouring down, and our clothes were soaking wet.

We finally made it inside and met eyes with the big goblet.

"Wow!" I beamed, spectating the blue flames closely. An age line could be found around the goblet, making it impossible for anyone younger than 17 to enter.

Pansy and I sat down beside Hermione. It took a lot to convince Pansy to sit with her, but to be honest I really didn't bother sitting with the familiar Slytherin boys we called friends.

Cedric then walked in, his head high and a shining smile playing on his lips.
He proudly walked in the age line, putting his name in the goblet of fire.

Students were cheering and I couldn't help but cheer myself.
We caught eyes, and the charming boy flashed me a smile.

Suddenly two tall redheads could be seen, cheering loudly in excitement.

"Hello, Potter" George winked at me, making my normally pale skin turn into a rosy shade.

"Thank you thank you, well lads we've done it" they bragged loudly.
I giggled slightly at their cluelessness.

"It's not going to work" Hermione sang, amused at the twin's stupid idea.

George and Fred sat down between Hermione and me, looking annoyingly at the brown-haired girl.

"Oh yeah? And why's that Granger?" Fred snickered, a goofy smile plastered across his face.

"You see this? This is an age line. Dumbledore drew it himself" Hermione explained.
It was common sense, yet the twins didn't lose hope.

"So?" George chirped in, earning a glare from Hermione.

"So a genius like Dumbledore couldn't possibly be fooled by something pathetically dimwitted such as an age potion" Hermione continued, explaining the obvious.

The twins ignored Hermione's tries of explaining their idea wasn't going to work, and instead pulled out two small bottles.

As they gulped down the potion I could feel someone staring at me.
My eyes glanced around the room, looking for a possible someone.

And that's when I met eyes with him.
He had dark circles under his eyes, his blonde hair was lazily hanging down his forehead resembling a curtain, and his tie slightly loose, making him seem like he just woke up.

His eyes were glaring right through mine, making me shift uncomfortably in my seat.

Even though he was across the room, I could still feel the tension building between us.

A loud cheering suddenly pulled me out of my thoughts. The twins had gotten inside the age line.

I laughed at their proud faces, a goofy smile could also be seen on Pansy's face.

The tall boys pulled out two pieces of paper, their names written neatly on it.

They looked around proudly for approval before the blue flames fired up with their names.

Suddenly the twins were flung across the room, hitting the floor harshly, a hard thump echoing through the room.

I gasped slightly as my eyes widened at the sight.
Suddenly their normally red hair turned into a snowy grey color.
A matching beard could be found on their long faces, and terror too.

The twins began arguing, soon rolling around on the floor fighting and grasping onto each other's new hair.

The students around us were cheering, excited to see a fight break out.
I myself couldn't help but smile a bit, but that smile would soon turn into a frown.

The room that was filled with noise a moment ago suddenly became silent as Viktor Krum walked in and put his name in the roaring flame.

I gulped at the intimidating boy as I notice he has earned quite a few admires.

Draco one of them.
