Looking deep into your eyes.
Discovering we are the same, but one lies.
Can't seem to find out what it is.
You're a strange soul.
I'm a broken mess.

The cold wind skimmed through my clothes, making me shiver.

I was wearing some old brown jeans and a way too big button-up shirt.
the jeans were worn out and ripped in the bottom, making the strings tickle my ankles.
The shirt had brownish colors, but I actually liked the shirt since I could hide in it.

This was my first time being alone. And free.
I had never been by myself, let alone outside of Azkaban.

The Hogwarts express finally arrived.
I stared at the train in amazement.
My eyes glanced around the big crowd and I noticed the exciting atmosphere.
Parents were hugging, crying, and saying goodbye to their children.

A small family caught my eye;
there was a little boy, a dad, and of course a mom.

I looked as the mom hugged their son, looking deep in his eyes and kissing him on the head, before saying her last goodbye with a sad smile.
My eyes became teary, I was frozen still.
The loud crowd suddenly became quiet and all I could focus on was the little family in front of me. The small family reminded me of my own family, if I could even call it that.

"Are you okay dear?" A red-haired lady suddenly asked. I turned around taken by surprise before speaking up.

"Yeah, I'm fine.. sorry!" I said as I quickly wiped my eyes and gathered my thoughts.

"Mom! This is Elaine!" A familiar voice exclaimed, it was Ron.

"Elaine! That's right! I'm Mrs. Weasley, but you can call me Molly." She laughed and hugged me. I was taken back by her sudden affection but quickly relaxed into her warm hug.

"You two better hurry on the train! I hope to see you soon Elaine!" Mrs. Weasley said as she hugged Ron goodbye.
I waved kindly at her before parting ways with the two.

As I stepped on the already crowded I couldn't help but feel my heartbeat rising.
It was beating harshly against my chest, and I had to hold onto myself for reassurance.

I slowly rested my head on the window looking out in the landscape, it was beautiful.
There were no right words for describing it, I felt like I was leaving my past, which I was, but this was a new chapter in my life, hopefully, one I could bear to read again.

After a while I stood up and looked in the hall, I wondered if there was any food there.
I walked out of my compartment looking around.

"Sorry!" I said as I bumped into a tall figure.
I looked up and saw a pale boy with platinum blonde hair and grey eyes looking down at me.
Time stood still as we looked each other deep in the eyes.

I couldn't help but notice the sadness in his eyes, almost as if we were the same.
He had a slight blush across his cold face and his ears were red - probably from the cold.
He clenched his sharp jawline spectating my features.

Suddenly the train stopped making me trip back. The blonde quickly caught me. It became freezing cold, his cold hands were on my back sending chills up my spine, making me colder than the ice appearing around us.

The train started moving again and everything went back to normal.
The mystery boy quickly got up and excused himself.
Who was he?

Little did I know the pale boy would change my life.

We finally arrived at Hogwarts.
I gulped as I looked up with big eyes at the huge castle in front of us, making me feel so incredibly small.

"Elaine!" Hermione yelled dragging Ron and another boy with her.
