I watched him from across the room, as he's too bright to ignore.
He smelled of his expensive cologne that I had always adored.
It became harder to resist him,
Harder to let him go.
What if I wanna hold on?
What if I wanna be his expensive cologne?

"Elaine!" A familiar voice yelled as their footsteps came closer.
I turned around furiously, not wanting to even look at the boy again.

"You seriously believe he's a deatheater!? You're so obsessed with him!" I whisper-yelled, making Harry's cheeks glow a dark red.

"Elaine, I have my reasons to believe he's in the deatheater cult!" He whisper-yelled back, anger lingering in his voice.
I rolled my eyes at what he had thought, tempted to say something less kind.

"Why are you telling me this," I said a little louder, but my voice was way more calm.
Harry let out a sigh as he rubbed his temples, before speaking up again.

"Can you just keep an eye on him? Please?" He asked hopefully.
I shook my head in response, there wasn't a chance I was gonna become a stalker, definitely not after he practically begged me to stay away from him.

"Are you even listening to what I'm saying!?" Harry exclaimed loudly.

"Yes, it just takes me a while to process so much stupid all at once" I spat.
Harry rolled his eyes at my sarcasm, in to which I couldn't give a shit.

"We're gonna be late for class" was all I said before leaving.
I didn't believe that Draco was a deatheater, but it wouldn't shock me.
So I couldn't help but think, what if he was?

Harry, Ron, and I made it just in time for potions.
When I stepped into the small classroom I almost puked at the smell that was lingering in the gloomy room.

Slughorn began speaking up about the different spells he had prepared, one that caught my attention more than the others.

"This one is Amortentia, the most powerful love potion in the world. It's rumored to smell differently to each person, according to what attracts them." Hermione said as her gaze lingered on the potion.

That must've been what I smelled earlier, and now that the cauldron was opened and all the girls swarmed around it, I couldn't help but back away.
The smell was so strong that I either had to puke or cry - no in between. So instead I stayed behind the class, doing my best at hiding from the smell.

Of course, a familiar blonde had noticed me, and his eyes kept their gaze on me, making me shift uncomfortably in my spot.
I didn't know what he wanted, or what he was looking for in me.
He made it clear that he didn't want to see me, so I didn't want to give him any hope that I still had feelings for him.

"Can anyone tell me what they smell?" Slughorn asked the class.
The same boy that was staring at me in the twins' shop spoke up, taking me by surprise that he was even in this class.

"Yes, Cormac?" Slughorn said, ordering the boy I assumed to be Cormac to step up.

"I smell-" he began as he took in the scent.
"Ocean breeze, cigarettes, lavender, and a tint of fire whiskey," the boy said.

"Feisty, that one" Slughorn mumbled to himself, yet the whole class could hear.

I scanned the room, wondering if the person he had described was in here.
That is when I noticed Draco. His jaw was clenched and his eyes dark. He looked with a deathly glare at Cormac, and I couldn't figure out why.
