"Hmmm"

To think I would be using the knife that could have impaled me to open wine bottles is crazy even by my standards and I was born inside a fantasy book.

"Eighteen years. Eighteen years have passed since I last had a drop of alcohol" I sat down facing Edward.

"And man is it worth it! Damnnnnnn" I continued talking while wiping my lips on my sleeve.

"Should've done this on the first day"

Letting go of the empty bottle I dropped on the bed like a lifeless doll. I could feel myself getting tipsy by the second.

I used to be a heavy drinker back in Korea, I guess I still have the same amount of tolerance.

Dad didn't let me drink even though the legal age for drinking in Orion is sixteen. It got bad to the point that I had to break open his safe for the key to the wine cellar.  Only to get busted in the end.

It was not my finest moment.

The wine I just had had a high alcohol content. It would be enough to knock down someone as big as Luther or even Nathaniel after a few glasses. But I'm still good to go for a few more.

"You can take the alcohol from the junkie, but you can't take the junkie from the alcohol" I started preaching to comatose Edward.

"That's what I am......a junkie. A junkie with a heart of gol......no not entirely gold. With some unidentified stuff mixed with it.....hehe"

Right then, there was a knock on the door. I got up and slapped myself on the cheeks before I walked towards the door.

When I peeked out through a light crack there was no one around. After opening the door and stepping out I found the outer room completely empty.

Then I noticed something on the floor. There was a tray with a change of clothes and a glass of milk.

Do I look like a baby that needs coaxing to them? I'm supposed to look scared.

Wait...... I guess that works. Doesn't this mean they bought my act?

I pulled the tray in and closed the door behind me. I picked up the dress they sent for me and held it up high so that I could get a full view.

"Hah. What did I expect"

"It's white today. Are they talking about 'peace' symbiotically?"

The dress I was wearing was starting to feel more uncomfortable. So I was going to look for something to change into. This isn't bad. Although it's not my taste to wear something too open, I'm just going to make the best of what I have.

"Uppsiee" I started taking off the gown without much thought.

Midway I realized that I wasn't alone in the room.

"Oh" I turned towards Edward. He was in the same position that I've seen him since....forever.

"I'm going to change my clothes into this excuse of a nightgown. So no peeking ok, dear husband"

As expected there was no reply from him.

I know that he's not going to reply or open his eyes for a long time. But I still had my suspicions about an overly powered character like him.

It felt uncomfortable to change my clothes in front of him.

So I pulled the quilt over his head and covered him entirely from head to toe. This way I can change without feeling weird.

This time I took off the gown entirely and threw it on the floor before changing into the nightgown. I opened Edward's safe again and pulled out two more bottles of wine.
