Y/n opened his eyes, looking around to notice that he had fell asleep on the sofa. Stretching his arms and giving a yawn, standing up he moved over to the kitchen, planning on making himself a simple breakfast to help get through the day.
He sat at the table and put together some eggs on toast which was done relatively quickly, so while he ate, he needed to plan what he was going to do today.
"I guess I could go see Greg, I could talk to him about the credit card situation ..." Y/n said to himself as he finished up the eggs on toast and soon placed them in the sink to wash off later.
After a few more stretches to get the blood flowing and his body truly awake, he walked down the stairs and out of the front door, only to be greeted with a slight drizzle. Groaning he turned around and went back inside only for a few moments so he could acquire his coat, it wasn't the best coat he's had, but it would work in this situation.
Once he adorned his black coat, to protect him from the rain, Y/n made his way down the hill and in the direction of the car wash.
It didn't take Y/n long for him to reach the car wash, since it was early in the morning, Greg wasn't outside. He was most likely still in his van.
"Greg, you in there?" Y/n asked as he walked up to the back of the van and knocked twice.
After a few moments, a couple of groans could be heard from the other side. Y/n smiled slightly as this was probably a sign that Greg was waking up. Soon the back doors opened, revealing Greg. "Y/n, What bring you here so early?" The balding man asked as he yawned as well as rub his eyes.
"Well ... I need a favour from you." Y/n said, pulling his hood up as the rain had started to get worse.
"Oh boy, here we go." Greg said playfully as he gestured for Y/n to get in the van to take shelter from the heavy rain that had just started.
"So, what did ya need?" Greg asked, closing the doors of the van. The rain had now begun pelting off the roof.
"Ever since I've been here, I've been using Mayor Dewey's credit card, it has my money on it, but since I don't have one nor can I get one, I've been using his ..." Y/n started, briefly looking out the van window to see the hard rain pouring down.
"Would I be able to use yours? I'll have my own money of course, its just that I'd rather talk to you than Mayor Dewey ..." He chuckled.
Greg thought for a moment. "I don't see why not; I might be able to get a new card from a different bank if that's alright with you?" Greg said, not really questioning why Y/n can't get a credit card.
"Thanks Greg, you might need to tell Mayor Dewey to send you the money, I should have around ...$320,000 left." Y/n said, earning a surprised gasp from Greg.
"Jeez! How did you get that kinda money?" Greg asked, with surprise and shock.
"I invested in the stock market ... I'd have more, but I brought the lighthouse." He responded, shrugging.
"No wonder why I've seen you up there frequently ... either way, I'll be sure to talk to Mayor Dewey about it." Greg nodded with a smile as he pattern Y/n's back.
"Thank you, let me know if you need anything fixing, free of charge for helping me out." Y/n returned the smile as Greg started to ponder.
"Hmm, well, there is one thing I need checking out ..." Greg said as he looked outside at the rain.
"If you show me what's broken, I'll fix it and you can head back to sleep, I can just leave a note or something." Y/n suggested.
Greg nodded and the two humans ran from out of the van and into the car wash because of the heavy rain.
