"Doug, make sure everyone is accounted for," Y/n said as he closed the doors to the bunker behind him, and then walked over to the reception desk still wearing his armour.

Doug nodded. His hair was visibly messy, obviously stressed as he didn't expect to have organised hundreds of people through a tiny room. "Alright, I have every one written down, it was a nightmare convincing people to stay calm ..." He admitted.

Y/n pressed a button on the table that began closing the entrance gate behind the building. "That's not surprising, but you did well," Y/n complimented. "I'm just waiting for the gems to get back before we start coming up with a plan."

"What's it here to do?" Doug asked as he was sat at the reception desk, logging onto the computer.

Y/n knew what he was referring to, he did not keep it secret that a hostile gem ship was approaching. Well, approached, it had landed somewhere near beach city, but Y/n was more focused on ensuring civilian safety to figure out where. "I don't know, but I plan on finding out soon." He responded.

"Everything seems to be going smoothly ..." Doug informed as he looked through the camera feed. Everyone in the bunker was settling in well, people had been informed of the rooms they were to stay in, and people were socialising. "I guess I'll meet up with Priyanka and Connie. Is there anything you need me to do?"

Y/n shook his head. "I don't think so, just keep an eye out for anything suspicious," He told as Doug stood up from the chair. "I might get a few of the gems to stay out and help where needed."

Doug nodded and proceeded to walk over to the elevator, pressing the button to call it. "Good luck, I hope to see you come back in one piece," He joked.

Y/n laughed. "Me too,"

The elevator arrived, allowing Doug to enter. The security guard did, allowing Y/n to give him one last nod before he pressed a button, taking the elevator back down.

Y/n walked around the desk, looking at the monitors which still showed all the cameras in operation. On one of them, Y/n saw Doug stepping out of the elevator. Most of them were pretty standard stuff, humans interacting with their new surroundings.

Y/n then switched over to the cameras on the outside, seeing if there was anything suspicious going on.

Everything seemed quiet. Too quiet.

Y/n focused on the cameras that pointed to the forest. He could've sworn he saw figures walking around ...

Y/n shook it off, switching back to the interior.

"Pair, any plans?" Y/n asked.

Pair beeped, it was difficult, the best bet would be teamwork.

"I can get behind that," Y/n nodded.

Suddenly, the doors opened, causing Y/n to draw his M1911 and aim at the person that had burst in. "Ah! Y/n! I'm sorrrrryyyy!" Steven jumped as he ran behind Garnet, who had just entered with Pearl, Amethyst, Lapis, Peridot, Doc, and Lucy.

"Oh, it's just you guys," Y/n said, placing the M1911 back on his leg. "What took you so long?"

"Well, if it wasn't for somebody who was adamant we had to draw our visitor we'd be here earlier!" Pearl complained.

"Awh, come on Pearl!" Steven complained. "It was an important exercise!"

"Wait, wait ..." Y/n said as the group walked up to the desk. "You saw a gem?"

Steven nodded as Peridot was quick to jump in. "We believe her to be an Aquamarine. They are typically sent on retrieval missions, usually accompanied by a topaz, or other warrior gems."
