She was laying in her room for about an hour trying to figure out things happening in her life. She did not even think about another wedding and suddenly her parents are talking about her engagement. After so many months, she finally was over her past and getting along with her life. For once, she was living her life for herself and for no one else. This marriage talk is not something she wanted at this point of life.

She heard her phone ring and she turned around to find her phone. It was Kathir's ring tone. She completely forgot about her work in all the chaos and was not sure if he had called or messaged her before.

She wiped her face and made sure to mask her feelings before she picked her phone.

"Enga ponna Mulla? Bus stand la unakaga wait panitu irukean. Message anupinalum badhil illa. Bayamuruthita", he says before Mullai could even get a word in.

"Sorry Kathiru. Inaiku office pola. Un kita solla marandutean. Nee kelambu"

"Eii. Enna achu? Un koral en oru mathiri iruku?", Kathir asked concern evident in his voice.

"Adhu elam onum illa. Konjam tireda irukunu jasthi thungitean. Avalavu than", she tried sounding as normal as possible

"En poi solra Mulla? Enna achu'nu ipo solla poriya ilaya?", Kathir asked getting a little frustrated.

"Konjam odambu seri illa. Sathiyama avalavu than Kathiru"

He stays silent for a minute. "Seri. Rest yedu. Aparam pesarean un kita" is all he said before he ended the call.

Once she hangs the phone, she sees her mother walk into the room.

"Mulla, Payan veetla irundhu unna pakka konja nerathil varenu sonanga"

When Mullai did not answer back, Parvathy made her way up to her bed and much to Mullai's displeasure sat next to her.

"Avanga varapo Ipadi moonjiya thuki vechutu vandhu nikadha. Puriyudha?"

"Dheyava senju edhuvum pesadha ma. Edavadhu solida porean", Mullai was past being upset and was getting angry every passing minute.

"En di pesa matta. Unaku naladhu nenacha, enga melayey erinju vizhu nee", Parvathy said not ready to back off until she put some sense into her daughters head.

"Amma!!!"

"Mapillai oda Amma Appa inum inga than irukanga pola. Apadiyey unna pathutu porenu sonanga. Rendu manerathula vanduduvanga. Nee vandhu tiffin sapitutu ready agu", Parvathy talked business.

"Enaku sapadu elam onnum venam. Enna konja neram thaniya vidu nee modhala", Mullai grunted.

"Mapillai veetu munadi moonja thuki vechutu edavadhu pannu. Apo iruku unaku", Parvathy said crossing her arms over her chest angrily.

"Aparam adhu kula mapillai nu elam edhuku solra? nenga sonenganu pakka than serinu sonean. Kalyanathuku illa", Mullai scowled at how fast they were moving things when she was not even ready to meet anyone yet.

"Avanga elam samadham solli achu. Mapillai matum unna pathutu seri sonna podhum", Parvathy said proudly.

"Apo naan enna nenaikarenu kavalai illa. Apadi thana?", she groaned ready to attack her mother if she had a choice.

"Amam di, illa. Nee sollradhu elam ketu than inga irukom. Thirumbavum solrean, un athai kudumbathuku munadi nee nala vazhdhu katanum. Apo than en manasu aarum"

Parvathy started tearing up and immediately softened her tone "Un vazhkaiya azhichutu avanga elam sandhosama irukaradha patha vayir eriyudhu. Nee sandhosama pulla kuttioda irukaradha naan pakanum Mulla.
