"I'm going to check the park" "all you have done all day is run around" "things to do".
I am leaving first thing tomorrow morning I need to make sure everything is running smoothly, we have enough stock and fingers crossed nothing goes wrong.

"Carlton?" "April it's finished" I grinned not that he could see. "Give me five minutes and I will be there" "sure".
Running through the park, when I got to the new ride, Carlton was waiting just out side of the fencing "all done?" "It sure is, come through" walking in, I couldn't help but smile. "Perfect timing is it good to have the test runs before this opens up tomorrow?" "Yes it is. If you want to test it now we can" I grinned "give me one minute" "alright".
Grabbing my radio I put it out to all staff.
"Who is on break or isn't doing anything right now?" "That would be me" "me too" "what do you need April?" "Your butts to the new ride, we are testing this bad boy out".
Waiting for Jessica, beau and Troy I spoke with Carlton. "How are your daughter and wife?" "They are doing so well. Georgia doesn't want to sleep much though" "fun times" Carlton laughed "I shouldn't laugh but it's true. Wouldn't change a thing though" "I am really happy for you both, I'd love to meet her one day soon" "of course".
"We are here" I chuckled "let's show you what you are in for" walking through the gates their eyes lit up. "Hell yes" "Jessica you can go in the front then April, beau and Troy" putting all our radios and phones down we all climbed in.
"Ready?" "Hell yes" "yes we are" "keep your hands in" "got it boss" Carlton chuckled.
Slowly going down the hill, it started to pick up speed as we moved around the corners and back up a hill. Getting right to the highest point, the log dropped at fast speed making everyone scream with joy. Going around four more times the ride slowed down and stopped at the start. "That was fucking awesome" I chuckled "it was. We need to get Brenton here as he will be running it" "we call him".

"April how are you?" "Good thanks and you?" "I'm alright. Do you need something?" "The ride is up and running. We just did the first test run. If you have the time Carlton can show you how to run it" "I can be there in twenty" "sweet more test runs in between" Brenton laughed "wild child" "never. Bye" "bye".

"Let's go again. We get to test this beauty ten times today" "I'm not saying no".
Taking a few test rides, when Brenton arrived we all got off the ride.
"Have fun?" "Yes it will be a big hit" "Carlton, Brenton needs to learn the ropes" "well up you come" Brenton grinned.
"Alright you four back in you get" I grinned at troy "ready?" "More than".

"Alright these are your two levers. Make sure the smallest person is to the front, when the drop happens they will be safer" "I can do that".
"This lever is to start and stop the ride" "this lever is to control the speed. I will do this run then you can test it" I nodded.
Watching Carlton control it, I grinned hearing those four having a blast on the ride.
"Get ready you four Brenton will now be in control" "shit" "God help us" I chuckled.
Controlling the ride, I not only watched the levers but also those four. It made me grin seeing her so happy. She is definitely wild. Stopping the ride when those four got out they had massive grins on their faces.
"Hired" all of them laughed "thanks".
"Okay Brenton I will show you some more about the ride. Manuals etcetera so if anything does go wrong you can fix it or completely shut it down" "okay".
"Alright that's us out" "yeah I have a lot of shit to do. Thanks Carlton" "you are welcome I might see you before I leave" "she has been running around all day good luck finding her" I internally grinned until a thought popped in my head, my guess is she is getting everything done before she leaves. She hasnt told anyone but I reckon she is going soon.

After Carlton gave me the manuals and showed me what I needed to know, we left closing the gates.
"Is that the new ride?" "Yes it is" "ooo I want to try" "we can not open it today maybe very soon" the young girl had a massive grin on her face "okay" when she ran off Carlton chuckled "kids they are always so forward and full of beans" "they are".
Walking back to the office Brit, beau and Tommy were all standing in the office talking. "It was a blast" "bring on next months free day" "that all depends if April is here or not" "hey Brenton" "hey guys. Have you seen matt or April?" "April?" "Hey how did you go with Carlton?" "Good. he explained what he needed to" April nodded "alright I need to go to the cafe" "on grounds?" "Yes" April walked out and I looked at Brit "has she been like this all day?" "Yes she is on a mission today. She hasn't been here much lately, my guess is she is just making sure everything Is running smoothly" I nodded.
Looking at matt as he came out he had a few folders of paperwork. "Brit this is yours" "argh fun times" matt smirked "tommy, April wants you to double check all these" "I knew she would. She does this every month" "and beau.." "nah I ain't.." matt started laughing "I'm just messing with you but brenton this is for you" "what is it?" "Can you multi task?" "Yes" "are you sure? you are male" I laughed at Brit "yeah I am positive about that. What is this?" "Tally sheets. The ride is opening tomorrow. April wants a full month of tallies to see how the ride is going" "are we talking families or individuals?" "There will be both on the sheets". Opening the folder I nodded "yep two sections" "welcome to ventures new recruit" I couldn't help but laugh.

Seeing April come back in she had another folder with her. "Is that the cafe reports?" "Yes I just need to look over them but Bridget said they are fully stocked anyway so I'm sure they will be fine. Where is Troy?" "He is working the rapids" April smirked "of course he is" "I would too if I didn't have these to do" "unlucky office bitch".
Seeing April walk back into the office, I shook my head. She needs to slow down. "I wouldn't even bother trying, she is on a mission" "try what?" "You want to tell her to relax don't you?" "She will burn out" "not likely".

April looked at her watch "shit in fifteen minutes. They are coming to remove the fencing around the new ride" "will they need help?"
