"Our mothers are friends now," Conan said, the moment the call connected.

It had rained all night after Heath left and Conan was glad he wasn't the only one crying. His mom had let him oversleep which happened very rarely. He woke up his mind still groggy. His mom had opened all the windows to let in the breeze. It was one of those lazy days, when he felt like relaxing but to be productive at the same time. Only when he stumbled in the kitchen to make coffee for him and his sister, he saw Janet Locke, his mom and dad(read dad) having breakfast together.  Janet smiled at him brightly and his parents just smiled awkwardly, probably not sure how Conan would react to their obsessive behaviour. He smiled at them too, feeling really self conscious of how he looked.

"At least they like each other," Heath smiled. His face was hidden from view because he had placed his phone as such that Conan could see the ceiling and sometimes flashes of the fringes of his dark hair. "I mean it could have gone much worse."

"My mom hating your mom?" Conan laughed. "Though that would have been awkward to watch."

Heath's laugh echoed loudly and the place on his screen shifted. He was in his bedroom now. Not as bright as the one he had back home.

"I think it's cute that they are overindulged," Heath said, his face cupped in his hands.

"It would be cute if I didn't walk into the kitchen looking like a barbarian," he said, shaking his head. "I-"

"HIYA, CONAN'S HEATH!" Louis said, disrupting the mood. He jumped on his brother's bed, smiling at the camera beside him. His hair looked particularly fair today and he seemed happier. "I wanted to thank you. I asked Michael and he is not going with Daphne. I am going with Michael as his boyfriend. I take back all the stupid things I said about the dance."

"Aww," Heath smiled. He looked like he was happy to talk to Louis. "I am happy for you."

"I can't wait to talk to him. Do you think I should call him?"

"You should call him right now," Heath nodded and Louis smiled, waved at him once and left. He re-entered the room as if he had forgotten something, hands tucked inside his jeans. He grabbed something off Conan's desk again, another mono eraser.

"Did he grab something again?" Heath asked, smiling dorkily.

"Another mono," he said sadly. He would never stop him. Monos were the best erasers in the world and they didn't ship where Louis lived. Usually, by the time he met Louis again, he would have run out of them but this time he seemed to be stocking up extra. "The best eraser in the world. I don't know why exactly he does that. I give him, like, twenty every time I meet him."

"You two are so boring," Lim's voice quipped, though her face wasn't visible. "Like who talks about erasers to their boyfriend?"

"He is not my boyfriend..." Heath mumbled shyly, tucking his head in his arms. "She is saying that because she has never used a mono."

"I don't care about erasers," Lim said, a thump sounding somewhere. "It's so sad to watch you two get shy around around each other."

"Thank you," Heath said sarcastically. The door to his room closed with a soft click and he sighed, looking at him. "Is it possible to kiss someone through phone cameras?"

"Please tell me it is," Conan said, imagining his lips over his. "I-"

The door to his room opened again and his friends poured through the door. Ashley and Gus, holding hands and looking disgustingly in love, Ellie sipping some boba, holding an extra one in her other hand and Caroline, holding a sweater and Conan's cat.

"Ooo, are you talking to him?" Ellie asked, plopping down next to him and glancing at his phone. Heath smiled nervously and gulped at the prospect of more people around.

"Your boyfriend?" Gus asked, leaning in to get a better look. Ashley was the only one who didn't crowd him because she already had been told everything about him by Conan.

"Hi, Heath," Caroline waved at him. "Wait-Are you two having an online date? I am sorry, we all interrupted."

"Don't worry about it," Heath said, waving a hand. "I was just gonna leave. I have exams to study for."

"I have them too but I study the night before," Ellie laughed, handing Conan a boba. "It's okay, Heath. It's cool, we will come back in a while."

"This boy in my art history class keeps annoying me," Heath said, lying on his bed and his hair were spread on the pillow

"This boy in my art history class keeps annoying me," Heath said, lying on his bed and his hair were spread on the pillow. "He keeps flirting with me and every time I turn him down, he apologises and does it again."

"Do you want me to beat him to pulp?" Conan asked, not feeling a pang of jealousy.

"Yes but no," Heath smiled. "That sounds cliche and violent."

"You hit Kyle for me," Conan said and Heath looked at him timidly. "It's only fair if I hit him for you."

"I guess but then you will go to jail and then I will have to do something to go to jail because I want to be with you in jail," he trailed and the other laughed.

"Because jail is so romantic," Conan rolled his eyes.

"Jail is romantic," Heath said and it was not easy to tell he was joking. "We get matching clothes, same rooms..."

"I want to say something jail related and cliche about you right now," Conan said, his smile spreading into a grin.

"Please don't," Heath groaned, slapping himself. "I swear to god my stomach crawls with worms when you say something disgustingly cliche."

"I am gonna say it anyways," Conan said and he did. They laughed as Heath's face went red.
