It was an 'exams are over so we can fuck without tension' party. Lim looked more appropriately dressed than either of them, wearing black shorts, fishnet tights, a sheer shirt with a crop top and hooped earrings. Conan understood that the party was at some rich hot nerd's house, more like a mansion. Heath parked the car and Conan was dazed by whatever he was seeing.

The house had glass panes on a majority of the front and Conan could already see a couple people inside, making out against the walls while a few had already passed out and were being dragged across the floor for fun. He understood that getting drunk in there was probably not the wisest choice.

Lim hugged a girl outside the door who seemed to be making out with one of her friends. She almost pulled in Micah too but Heath pulled her back before anything could happen. Inside, there were no lights on but cheap bulbs, covered with coloured foil with holes on them. A guy and a girl were making out right on the stairs and Conan felt like it wouldn't be long before they took off their clothes. Someone almost bumped into, apologising and saying it was the blaring music. It was nothing Conan was interested in, just random noises thrown together to make a shitty track.

"Hey, Lim!" a guy with fair hair and stark green eyes waved and she almost squeaked. Conan guessed it was the hot nerd, Al. "Hi, Charles."

His voice got less enthusiastic when he greeted Heath and was almost dead when he asked, "Who is the Asian guy?"

"The Asian guy can hear you," Lim snapped. Conan had only felt mildly annoyed by Al's addressal to him but he sure hadn't expected Lim to stand up for him. "It's Conan."

"Um..Hey, Conan," he said, awkwardly. "Micah, Jeremy was looking for you. He wants to ask the answer to the second last question."

"Okay," Lim said and patted Heath once, only to leave. "I will be back. Try to enjoy."

"Do you know anyone here?" Conan asked, feeling a little dizzy over the blaring music. His head felt like it would blast if he stayed there any longer.

"More than I should," Heath said sadly. "I-"

His voice was cut off by a someone else. It was another boy, brown hair that fell beneath his ears, warm brown eyes, an array of freckles spread across his face and a charming smile. Another hot nerd, as Lim liked to call them.

"Hi, Heath," he grinned and Conan got a feeling that he grinned a lot. "Is that your friend?"

"Uh, yeah, Conan," he said and Conan smiled at him, desperately hoping the boy didn't make eye contact. The boy didn't even glance at him, much less smile. It was relieving yet demoralising at the same time.

"Hi, Conan," he said quickly, only looking at Heath. "Heath, why don't you come with me?"

Heath glanced at him with an apologetic look and was begging with his eyes to stay around. Conan didn't know anyone around anyways so following the guy around didn't feel that odd.

"My name is Noah Brad, by the way," the boy spoke, taking them through groups of dancing people. Conan didn't respond and after a couple pauses Noah spoke again.

"You two are friends right?"

Conan didn't know what to say. Him and Heath weren't friends but they were dating either, it was an odd place to be in. Everyone someone called them friends, he could feel his stomach turn but when they called them boyfriends, he had an urge to correct them.

"Sort of," Heath said, sounding unsure. "Does it matter?"

"Guess not," Noah said, a flash of colours visible in his hair as he ran a hand through them. "Do you drink, Conan?"

They stopped at some table where bottles of alcohol(some looked self made) were lying around, some empty, other waiting to be opened. Two girls were paying beer pong at the table and challenge seemed to be that if someone lost, they would have to kiss the other. A win both ways. One of them was smoking and Conan almost coughed as the smoke blew his way. Fuck, he hated the charry smell of it.

"I do," he said, "But I don't want to right now."

The reason was that Conan didn't trust what they were adding in the drinks. He couldn't pretend like he hadn't seen a boy ask a girl for pills and just drink whatever Noah gave him.

Noah glanced at Heath suggestively. "I will be driving so I can't drink either," he said and Noah nodded.

"Good," he smiled at Heath flirtatiously. "Now, I can't be jealous of the glass."

Conan could swear Heath had winced and almost recoiled at the cheesy pick up line. Heath was saved by the second hand embarrassment of having to respond by Lim. Glass in hand, she smiled at Heath and Conan and frowned at Noah.

"My friends are playing truth and dare," she said and Heath smiled. He looked he would agree to anything if it meant not talking to Noah.

Lim took them to another room with five people sitting in a circle with a lot of space between them. Two girls and three guys with an empty beer bottle between them. Conan low key hoped the game wouldn't turn to spin the bottle later. Maybe it was already spin the bottle and Micah had tricked them.

They settled and Al spun the bottle. It wavered and landed between Lim and cute chubby hot nerd, Al

"Truth or dare, Micah?" he asked and Lim winced at the sound of her full name.

"Truth," she answered and a girl beside her almost booed.

"Why do you always bail on me?" Conan had expected him to wait a few seconds before speaking but he seemed like he already had a question.

"Because I hate going on stupid dates with you," she shrugged and someone laughed. Heath looked really tense with Lim being so straight forward and Conan slipped his hand into his. He looked up at him and smiled, his face lighting up.

"Then why do make out with me, the first chance you get?" he countered.

"One question only," Lim said quietly. Al looked a little taken aback but determined.

The bottle spun again and landed on Noah and Heath. He just realized that Noah had somehow settled into the game too and that too right opposite to Heath.

"Dare," Heath said quietly, not even bothering to look up who was to give the dare.

"I dare you to be my boyfriend for a week."
