"Okay, now beat this!" Astrid called and Stormfly performed a series of barrel rolls and flips. The two enjoying themselves immensely.

"Not bad," I shrugged. "But can you do this?!" Spike casually started barrel-rolling and then did flips while barrel-rolling, making me slightly nauseous but whatever. "Wa la~," I said as we stopped and I posed but the world was still spinning and I almost fell off.

"Yeah, great trick. The only problem is you." She laughed while I gasped dramatically.

"Story of my life," I added and joined her in laughing. "So, on a work-related note. This quadrant checks out?"

"Yeah." She nodded. "Alpha quadrant checked out. Nothing but water, and..."

"And?" I repeated followed her gaze. There was a very abandoned-looking fishing boat just floating around.

"Let's get a closer look." Astrid said and we quickly landed on the boat and dismounted. She grabbed her axe and I grabbed my medicine bag, then we approached the door.

We paused for a moment and looked at each other, then Astrid pushed the door open with her axe. It smelled horrible and I suddenly had a very bad feeling.

"Abandoned." She muttered. "Let's get out of here."

Suddenly we heard something fall, making her flinch and I jump.

"Hello? Hello? Is someone there? Ugh! What is that smell?"

"Your only just noticing the smell now?" I asked in disbelief.

"Stormfly, torch." Astrid told her dragon and we watched as Stormfly lit a lamp.

We cautiously crept inside and both stopped in shock at a pile of dead bodies littered around the room. They were a pale green and almost slimy and hallow. Like they had the life sucked from their bodies. Suddenly I saw a hand move, reaching towards Astrid and spun us around.

"No!" I panicked while doing so and felt the hand's fingernails scratch my forearm, barely making me bleed.

Astrid grabbed my other arm and pulled me from the cabin, then started inspecting the scratch. Spike joining her and him sniffing my arm.

"It's okay, bud. It's just a scratch." I said soothingly and ironically, scratched his head.

"Still, we need to get you back to the Edge." Astrid told me and we mounted our dragons and took off.

"What about the boat?" I asked, looking back at the floating grave.

"We'll leave it for now and come back later." She said and lead the way back.

Halfway back to the island, I suddenly didn't feel too great. Like sweaty and nauseous but chalked it off to the horrible scene I just saw and that a zombie guy scratched me. Definitely over-reacting. That's got to be it.

We landed outside Hiccup's workshop and slid off our dragons, me swaying for a brief moment when my feet hit the floor and having to grab onto Spike to not topple over.

"Are you okay?" Astrid asked, rushing over and half picking me up, trying to help.

"I-I'm fine," I replied and steadied myself. "I think I'm just in shock, and maybe a little sick after seeing... that."

Astrid for some reason glared at me before apparently deciding I was telling the truth and we walked into the hut. Fishlegs and Hiccup were in there talking and tinkering with one of Hiccup's inventions. While the twins and Snotlout were laughing and playing with something. They immediately turned to us and I tried to pretend I felt fine and ended up stumbling and having Astrid hoist my arm over her shoulder.
