Omg, second last chapter of RTTE!
We all stood around the clubhouse, anxiously waiting for Hiccup to add the last lens and Toothless to reveal the map to the King of Dragons. According to legend, the king could control the minds of all dragons, along with having the blast power to annihilate any foe. Not to mention the fact that it made Spike look like a Nadder in size comparison.
"Well, this should be it." Hiccup said and slipped the last lens into the Dragon Eye two. "The last remaining lens for the Dragon Eye. This should tell us everything there is to know about the King of Dragons."
"Come on, now, T, fire that magical plasma up and let a beacon of knowledge shine down upon us and light our merry way." Tuff told the Night Fury, who hummed and stuck his tongue out.
"Wow. That was kind of poetic, Tuff." Astrid said to the twin, all of us ignoring the fact that Toothless basically flipped Tuff off.
"Thank you, Astrid. You know, in some societies, entire conversations are spoken in verse." Tuff continued, taking us even further away from something of astronomical importance. "I'd like to visit one of those places..."
"Hiccup, Hiccup! If you don't tell Toothless to light that Dragon Eye, let us see what's on that lens, I will no longer be held responsible for my actions." Fishlegs yelled, jumping around, looking like he was going to smash a chair on the wall.
Hiccup grinned and turned to his dragon. "Toothless, you heard the screaming, crazy Viking."
Toothless readied his mouth behind the Dragon Eye and lit it with the light of his plasma. The colours shifted and changed to show an image of a Titan Wing Dramillion, surrounded by dragons representing the five Dragon Classes.
"Wow!"
"Whoa!"
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
"Seriously?!" I yelled, eye twitching. Everyone turned to me and I realized I had to explain. "That's it?! That's what we've been searching for? Not a different species, just a Titan? Does that not seem a bit underwhelming to you?"
"A Dramillion. That's a Dramillion." Fishlegs fangirled, not feeling the disappointment I felt.
"The King of Dragons is a Dramillion?" Astrid questioned, somewhat sharing my sentiment.
"No, it's a Titan Wing Dramillion." Fishlegs explained, as if it made all the difference in the world. Hint, hint... it didn't. "Look at the Titan Wing in relation to the other dragons. It's bigger than this Monstrous Nightmare right next to it. This must mean that the giant skeletal remains on Vanaheim belong to another Titan Wing Dramillion."
"Except for the fact that the Dramillion's anatomy does not match the skeleton and, I don't know... maybe the fact that the skeleton on Vanaheim is the size of the island?!" I pointed out. Spike had lost interest when he had heard the disappointing news. I didn't feel like I needed to rationalize his disinterest.
"Okay, okay, sounds great." Tuff brushed me off. "But what can it do?"
"How does it kill its enemy? Fire?" Ruff asked, both twins looking ready to burst.
"Spines?"
"Liquid, hot magma?"
Spike and I looked at each other but made no comment.
"Actually, legend has it that the King of Dragons uses its mind." Hiccup told them.
"What, like as a bludgeon?" Tuff asked excitedly and swung his head at Hiccup. "Pah!"
Hiccup dodged and held the twins' head back. "No, Tuff, it uses its mind to control other dragons." He pushed Tuffnut away with a single finger and gained all of my attention. "to make them do whatever it tells them to do."
