"This is a waste of time." I told Hiccup as we sparred.

"You haven't left your bed in a week, you need to be outside." He responded.

"No, no I do not."

"Well at least admit to needing to spar, you're losing your touch." He smirked and I sighed before actually trying. To my surprise, he blocked all my attacks; and if I wasn't so depressed I'd probably flirt with him.

We fought for a few more minutes before I finally gave up.

"Can we call it a draw?" I asked.

"Not on your life." Hiccup told me, thinking he could actually win. "I got you right where I want-" I took his moment of cockiness and used the staff of my scythe to swipe his legs out from underneath him. "What? Ah!"

"You're improving a lot." I admitted and held a hand out to help him up. "Maybe someday you'll win, just not today."

"Ooh, yeah!"

"Oh, yeah!"

The twins cheered at the outcome and Ruff threw flowers at us.

"Look out!" Tuff yelled and threw Chicken at us. She landed on Hiccup's back and I took her off.

"Would you two stop?" Fishlegs snapped at the twins and turned to us. "Hiccup, I've been looking all over for you. Johann is here and he wants-"

"Johann! Oh, great! Where is he?" Hiccup asked excitedly, which threw me for a loop.

"Uh, at the dock." Fishlegs answered, also confused at his reaction.

"Of course. The dock." Hiccup nodded and dragged me to Toothless. "Come on, (Y/n)."

"Sure, I'll come along." I rolled my eyes, knowing I didn't have a choice.

"Oh, unexpected. All you two do is hang out together. It's like we aren't even here." Snotlout said in disgust.

"Was that jealousy, Snolout? Don't tell me both you and Tuff have a picture of Hiccup above your bed?" I retorted, remembering Tuff's odd confession from a while back.

"That's more like you." Hiccup grinned and hugged me to his side before forcing me behind him on Toothless saddle; knowing very well in I got on Spike I would just leave.

"I'm just making a point, (Y/n). And a good one at that. So good that I don't even have to tell you to shut up, (Y/n). So shut up, (Y/n)." Snotlout replied and crossed his arms.

"Hypocrite." I muttered under my breath.

"You know, a strong, long-lasting relationship is a balancing act between work, friends, a stable home life, you know, the amount of jelly beans that you're eating." Tuff began but we flew off. "Yeah, fly off! We're just saying!"

We met Johann by the dock and the moment I saw him I got a sharp pain in my head and flinched.

"You, okay?" Hiccup asked in concern, placing his hand over mine where I grabbed my head.

"Yeah, just a headache." I mumbled.

"I can't apologize enough, Master Hiccup, for failing you on this endeavor." Johann explained, waltzing over to us. "I wasn't able to procure your oil on this recent trip as I was otherwise engaged with a Northern Native-"

"Oil? For what?" I asked Hiccup.

"Oh, just a little something I've been tinkering with." He shrugged.

"Oh, right, the secret project." I recalled.

"However, I am ecstatic to tell you that the oil you seek can be found in the rarest of Sassafrass Albidum plants that grow only on the Isle of Thizzian, the location of which I have included for you in its description." Johann told us and handed Hiccup a map. "I had hoped to procure it in the dark markets of Aberdeen, but, as I mentioned, my trip took quite the strange turn."
