We all stood in the clubhouse, glaring at Viggo. Toothless growled at him while Spike just scoffed and pretended he didn't exist as he could easily kill him whenever he damn well pleased."I don't trust the guy." Astrid broke the silence.
"You know he'd actually be pretty fun to hang with, I mean if he weren't trying to kill us all the time." Tuff input his opinion, completely throwing the tension out the window and making me actually consider it.
"You gotta love the way he talks." Ruff added and began her impression. "Hiccup, I'm afraid our time together has come to an end. I must now kill you if you have no objections."
"Like he's not gonna have objections. And then I'll go:" Tuff joined in. "All of your Dragon Riders must also go. With my sincerest apologies."
"I'm with Astrid. This is all just one big game to him Hiccup." Fishlegs said, trying to pull away from the actual interesting conversation.
"Ryker is coming to try to wipe us all out along with his brother. Are we really gonna take any chances with Viggo here?" Astrid asked and Hiccup looked to me for some sort of reassurance.
"I am not even going to pretend to know what's going on. All I know is between the two of these wackos, he's got enough sense to change sides before getting killed. I say we lock him up, maybe if he's good he can eventually get a probation officer." I shrugged.
"You guys are right, I've got this." Hiccup nodded.

"Hiccup, you must reconsider." Viggo pleaded as Hiccup and I led him to his cell.
"I'm sorry Viggo, there's just too much bad blood for us to trust that you'll do anything but try to, well you know." Hiccup trailed off.
"Kidnap our friends, torture our dragons, maybe get a few people killed? That whole shebang." I finished.
"And the Dragon Eye's return, it did nothing to assuage your concerns?" He asked us.
"Hey, for all we know you and Ryker are playing us to destroy everything we care about. You can understand the hesitance." I told him and we turned to leave.
"Ryker will attack this island with my Shellfire dragon I'm afraid he won't stop until all of you are, well, you know." Viggo called out, mimicking Hiccup's earlier remark.
"That's encouraging, as always, Viggo." Hiccup rolled his eyes.
"You see that's just it! I could be of considerable assistance in helping you defend your home if you would allow me." He argued.
"Key word there is 'could'." I pointed out. "You could also jump in the volcano, but neither of those are likely."
I heard the sound of footsteps and turned to see the twins running in.
"They're here!"
I was about to go full panic mode but Tuff continued.
"Well I mean not here exactly but very soon, soon they will be here. I'm thinking we might need to start getting ready."
"Translation, Ruff?" Hiccup asked the other twin.
"Dragon Hunters. Multiple ships headed this way." She reported.
"We didn't wanna bum you out you know what with all the-" Tuff dropped his voice to a whisper. "deadly disease and everything."
Hiccup and I exchanged looks of confusion.
"But we figured is it really our place to deny you the right, to die during battle instead."
"What in the name of Thor, are you talking about?" I asked, still having no idea what was going on; even though that was a fairly regular occurrence.
