Hiccup and I were in the training grounds, trying and failing at training the Triple Stryke."Look out!" Hiccup yelled and we ran in separate directions. "Whoa! Toothless, no!" Toothless fired a plasma blast and narrowly missed the scared dragon. "We're trying to train it."
"How are we supposed to train it if we can't get close to it?" I asked as my magic training skills were not working.
"I guess you can't blame it. The last humans it dealt with forced it to fight other dragons to the death." He pointed out.
"Maybe we should stop for a while and rethink things, this doesn't seem to be going anywhere." I suggested.
"We're making progress. If we could just find a way to get this guy on board have him fighting with us instead of against us."
"Spike! Spine Shot!" I yelled to Stormshadow as it tried to sting us. "And I'm all on board for that but maybe we can wait until my dragon whispering skill returns?"
"Look, we've dealt with way worse." Hiccup told me.
"Snotlout doesn't count." I said sarcastically as Fishlegs appeared.
"Good one, (Y/n). I'll have to remember that." He grinned and came up next to us.
"Fishlegs, what brings you to the depths of despair?" I asked and took a fleeting glance at everything burnt and covered in spines.
"Snotlout and the Twins just got back from patrol, and there are multiple storm fronts heading right for us." He explained. "We need to lock down the Edge before they start to hit."
"Yay, break!" I cheered.
"We're not done here." Hiccup reminded me.
"We are for a few days!"

"Snotlout, what are you doing?" Astrid asked as we began our storm precautions.
"Covering up my 'S!' What does it look like I'm doing?" He replied and threw a sheet over one of his many 'S's'.
"You're supposed to be closing the dome and battening down the hatches." She told him angrily.
"Hey, I'm not leaving the 'S' hangin' out in the wind."
"Snotlout!"
"Fine!" He yelled and then got blown away by wind caught in the sheet. "Aah!"
Spike and I were waiting as we had already completed our job by piling stuff in the dome. Fishlegs was still working on his and struggling to get the dragons in the stables.
"Fishlegs, hurry. You need to get em' into the stables. The storm-"
"I know. My thunder to lightning calculations are never wrong. And, according to them, well, let's just say it's.." there was a crack of thunder. "AAh. Really close."
"(Y/n), take dragon from Fishlegs and get them in the stable." Astrid ordered me and nodded.
"Alright, come on guys." I told the dragons. Spike and Stormshadow helping herd the pack.
I had finally gotten everyone in the stables, check the food and water, had just locked the front door and taken a few steps forwards when lightning struck right behind me. I debated pretending I heard nothing and going back to the clubhouse but turned around and saw the stables on fire.
"Oh, come on!" I yelled and tried to unlock the door to no avail. "Ah, this is gonna hurt..." I sighed and kicked the doors in.
They flew open and I was now in a burning building, frantically unlocking stalls and forcing the dragons outside while the ceiling came down. When I quadruple check to make sure they were all out, I made it to the door before hearing a small cry and seeing a Night Terror stuck under a burning beam. Like the idiot I was, I ran back inside and burnt my hand rolling the beam away and picking the small dragon up. I then made a b-line to the door and just made it outside as the entire building collapsed.
