You hummed lightly as you got ready to go out with some friends.

"Hey babe, where you going looking all fine?" Mikey asked wrapping. His arms around you and resting his head on your shoulder as you were putting in your earrings.

"I'm going out with Y/F/N" you said

"Absolutely not" He said

"What? Why not?" You asked turning around

"She's so irresponsible. I'll spend the whole night here pulling my hair out wondering if you're safe." Mikey argued

You sighed and kissed his nose
"Babe I'll be fine. No need to worry" you said trying to sooth his worries

"If you're gonna go out, please at least go out with someone that's gonna be responsible enough to make sure you get home safe" he pleaded

"Y/F/N is responsible." you replied and he sighed kissing you and begging you to be safe before walking you out the door

Mikey's POV
My phone rang and I answered
"Hey Mikey" My friend Hayden chimed

"Hey bro wassup?" I asked

"You're dating Y/N right? She is at this party man and she looks like a goner. I don't see anyone with her, you should come get her before someone else does" He says and I sigh in relief and frustration

"Yeah yeah please keep an eye on her until I get there for me" I say grabbing my keys

I arrive at the party and find her outside with Hayden.

"Thanks bro" I say and pick Y/N up and carry her to the car

"Mikey when'd you get here" she laughs

"I came to get you love" I reply knowing from past experiences drunk Y/N doesn't too much like harsh tones or arguing or I told you so's

"You're so wonderful" she rambles on as I drive home

"thank you baby likewise" I reply

"I'm so lucky to have you, I don't deserve you at all" she continues and I smile. She's such a nice drunk.

I get her home and and make sure she has water before putting her to bed.

"I couldn't live without you" she chimes and I smile kissing her forehead

I woke up feeling like I got hit by a train. Twice.

Mikey's not in bed next to me so I get up to find him.

I'm just about to enter the kitchen when I hear Mikey speaking on the phone with someone else.

"Yeah yeah I got her home safely, thanks for telling me bro" Mikey says

He's so cute.

"What? No of course not. She was so drunk she's not gonna remember last night so I'm gonna tell her that I was wrong and she was right and that she got home responsibly and I should've trusted her" He continues

Wait, what?

"Yeah I know it didn't happen like that but that doesn't matter to me. Whose right and whose wrong doesn't matter to me. What matters is the love of my life is safe and sound and home. Im not about to argue with her about a problem that didn't even happen. Life is so unexpected, Why would I waste a morning arguing with her when I many not ever get another morning with her again?" Mikey says into the phone and I just about die from the cuteness of that and try to gush silently.

I'm the luckiest girl on the planet to have him.

After he hangs up I walk in and hug him.

"Morning baby" he says and I smile kissing him

"You are the most amazing man I've ever met Mikey Fusco" I say
