You winced as the nurse shot your IV into your arm. You were having a minor surgery for a problem that was happening in your stomach muscles.
"Alright, the doctor that's putting you under will be here momentarily and then after that we'll take you into surgery Ms. YN." The nurse told you before walking away.
You sigh and try not to cry. Even though it's minor, you're still scared out of your mind.
"You okay baby ?" Nick asks
And you nod and give him a small smile.
"You can go babe, it's super early and I know you're tired." You replay and he shakes his head
"Why would I want to be sleeping, when my beautiful girl needs me?" He asks like its a dumb question
"I do need you. I'm so scared." You admit
He takes your hand and wraps it in his, kissing you on the forehead.
"Don't be, you'll be fine. I'll be here when you wake up and then we can go home and do absolutely nothing but cuddle for a week while you recover." He says making you smile
"I just hope it works." You say nervousness seeping into your veins. If the surgery doesn't work than you would not be able to have kids because the muscles in your stomach wouldn't be able to stretch the proper way.
"It will and then we can make tons of little me's years later." Nick replies, reading your mind.
"Ms. YN it's show time!" The nurse says returning
"Relax babe I'll be right here when you wake up." Nick says as you start going under
"Thank your being here for me Nick." You say slowly as you feel yourself drowsing off
"Of course baby girl. There's no place I'd rather be." Nick says as you finally close your eyes and smile because even though you're terrified, you know your boy will be right there by your side through everything.
