Back to the ship

"Anyone injured?" Chop chop asked as he looked towards the skylanders all of whom defeated their opponents but had nothing to say

"Good, let's get back"

Walking through the slow stealth elf reached down grabbing the snow globe she left in the ground thankfully finding it without any damages before the group began their walk back

After around fifteen minutes of walking the skylanders had returned to the shop however found prints in the snow

With his centuries of experience chop chop spoke one word

"Cyclopes"

Before even half the group could process what the words meant stealth elf swung the door to the shop open and rushed in ready to search the ship in less than a second to find and protect her little sister only to find her in the bridge on a chair kicker her feet back and forth with a small group of Cyclopes next to her beaten up and tied up

After a sigh of relief stealth elf lowered her blades as whisper elf noticed her presence

"Hi" she said in a good mood

"Hey" stealth elf said as the other skylanders entered and saw the captured enemies

"Impressive" ignitor muttered with no one disagreeing

Drill then treaded to the the stirring wheel and plug his drill in a slot and after a couple seconds the ships engines activated and set course for the academy

"I'll take these guys to the brig" ignitor said dragging the Cyclopes away

Once he was done and returned to the bridge ignitor took his seat with drill using his drills to type on a nearby computer as Spyro spoke

"Hey drill what are you doing?"

"Filing a report"

"Why?"

"It's a required"

"We didn't do any reports"

"That's because you could just walk up to eon and tell him what happened with skylanders all across skylands not many of us have that luxury"

"Well anyways anyone want to talk about what we just fought?" Eruptor asked

"Don't need to" chop chop said

"Why's that?"Jetvac questioned

"Cause we already know what they are feathers...traptaium shadows"

"What's that?" Pop fizz asked scratching his head

"Well let's see...you all know what traptaium is right? Crystallized essence of the elements?"

"Yeah" stealth elf said

"Well should a good properly refined traptaium chunk be used by someone who had the ability, it could trap someone in that piece if the person shares the same element as that piece and then make a shadow of them with their abilities but the form only has the colors of that element"chop chop explained

"So that's what we're dealing with"eruptor said

"Yep...actually we used that stuff on villains but we stopped about forty or thirty years ago, which was it?"Prism said turning to chop chop

"Thirty seven years ago we stopped doing it although it was the trap team who were doing it, they stopped as popular opinion saw making a captured sentient being do something against their will as wrong"

"Oh yeah that too" prism break said upon being reminded

"So wait if two teams have been captured by whoever is doing this than who knows how teams he has captured?" Spyro brought up

"That is the reason I sent the report" drill said

"Wait sent?" Jetvac asked as drill sergeant only started a couple minutes before

"He works fast" prism break said proud of his friends work

Then a beep came form the computer

"What is it?" Whisper elf said drinking a juice box

"It is from Kassandra she says that we must return immediately and she is calling back every skylander to the academy"

"Wait everyone? Wouldn't that leave us incapable of defending anywhere outside the academy?"prism break said

"We lost two of our best teams to this guy already and the sarha sin desert and blue mountains are pretty far from each other a months voyage with this thing at max speed if we don't regroup right now we could lose a lot more teams"drobot stated

"Fine but still we'd lose a lot of trust people have for us"

"Do we have any other option?"
