40: INT. NEVERLAND RANCH (LIVING ROOM) DAY FADE IN:

The next day. January 1st, 2001.

RACHAEL: (phone rings) (answers it) Hello?

PRINCE: (on the phone) Rach, it's me. Listen, you know how we talked about reinventing your image?

RACHAEL: Yeah.

PRINCE: (on the phone) Well, I'm getting ready to record some stuff for my next album and I got the idea to do a more adult contemporary sound for your next album. Let's do something totally different.

RACHAEL: I really like the sound of that.

PRINCE: (on the phone) You wanna come over and we can both record some stuff back to back?

RACHAEL: Sure! I'll see you in a bit. (hangs up) (calls out to Michael) Hey honey, I'm going to Paisley, you wanna come?

MICHAEL: No thanks sweetheart. The kids and I are gonna watch a movie.

RACHAEL: Ok. Do you mind if I take Blanket?

MICHAEL: Not at all. He's been a little fussy today, I think he misses you. (comes in and hands him to her)

RACHAEL: Awww! (kisses his forehead) Well, I'll be back later tonight. I love you. (kisses him and leaves)

41: INT. PAISLEY PARK (STUDIO) DAY DISSOLVE TO:

Rachael and Prince record tracks for their new albums.

RACHAEL: (comes in) Hi!

PRINCE: Hey Rach. (kisses her cheek) You brought the kid?

RACHAEL: Yeah, do you mind?

PRINCE: No, not at all.

RACHAEL: So, what did you have in mind?

PRINCE: Well, I thought we could do one track each back to back. I do one, you do one and we just keep it going.

RACHAEL: Ok. What's your new album called anyway?

PRINCE: I'm calling it "The Rainbow Children."

RACHAEL: (tries hard not to laugh)

PRINCE: (rolls his eyes) Shut up Jackson. I'll go first. (goes into the booth)

RACHAEL: Ok, I'm just gonna feed him. (sits down)

PRINCE: Don't worry, I won't look at you.

RACHAEL: (rolls her eyes) Thank you. (nurses him)

PRINCE: (starts singing)
