380: INT. MICHAEL AND RACHAEL'S HOUSE (LIVING ROOM) DAY FADE IN:

One month later, June 12th, 2005. The day before the verdict, and Rachael's 42nd birthday.

RACHAEL: (phone rings) (answers it) Hello?

PRINCE: (On the phone) Hey Rach, happy birthday.

RACHAEL: Oh, hey Prince. Thanks.

PRINCE: (On the phone) You doing anything right now?

RACHAEL: No, not really.

PRINCE: (On the phone) Why don't you come over to Paisley?

RACHAEL: Prince, I told you I don't wanna record any music right now. We've got way too much going on.

PRINCE: (On the phone) It's not about that. Just come over.

RACHAEL: Ugh, you're so bossy! Alright, I'll be there in an hour. (hangs up)

381: INT. PAISLEY PARK (STUDIO) DAY

Rachael arrives at Paisley Park.

 RACHAEL: (comes in)

PRINCE: There she is! Happy birthday Rach. (kisses her cheek)

RACHAEL: (hugs him tightly) Thank you. It's good to see you. So, what's going on?

PRINCE: I got a birthday present for ya. Remember last year you thought I wrote "Call My Name" about you?

RACHAEL: (rolls her eyes and chuckles) Yes!

PRINCE: Well, I felt bad about that, so I wrote one for you. (plays a track and starts singing) Whenever I feel like givin' up Whenever my sunshine turns 2 rain Whenever my hopes and dreams Are aimed in the wrong direction She's always there Tellin' me how much she cares She's always in my hair She's always in my hair My hair Whenever I feel like not 2 great at all Whenever I'm all alone And even if I hit the wrong notes She's always in my boat She's always there Tellin' me how much she cares She's always in my hair She's always in my hair My hair Maybe I'll marry her (Maybe I'll marry her) Maybe I won't (Maybe I won't) Maybe I will not (Maybe I will not) Lemme tell ya (Even if I was a gigolo) If I was a gigolo all my life (All my life) She'd still be there (She'd still be there) Tellin' me just how much she really cares (She cares) She's always in my hair She's always in my hair My hair Listen Whenever I feel like givin' up Whenever my sunshine turns 2 rain Whenever my hopes and dreams Are aimed in the wrong direction She's always there Tellin' me just how much she cares (Tellin' me how much she cares) Tellin' me... she's always in my hair (Always in my hair) She's always in my hair My hair She's always in my hair.

RACHAEL: Prince, that was so sweet!

PRINCE: (Smiles softly) Glad you liked it Rach.

RACHAEL: Honey, I loved it! (kisses his cheek)

PRINCE: (Pats the seat next to him) Come sit.

RACHAEL: (sits down next to him)

PRINCE: You doing anything special for your birthday?

RACHAEL: (Shakes her head) No, the kids made me some cards, but that's about it. We've got so much going on that I just didn't feel like celebrating.

PRINCE: (rubs her back lovingly) I'm sorry Rach.

RACHAEL: They're announcing the verdict tomorrow.

PRINCE: How you feeling about it?

RACHAEL: I'm scared... I mean, what if they find him guilty? He could spend the rest of his life in jail.
