Rye's POV
"Sky said she helped you pick clothes for Riley's party." I was drinking water when Cloud asked me.
"So what about it?"
"Can you bring one additional guest?" He is using his puppy eyes.
"No, two. We need to attend our Rileys party." Cloud and Rain are always together.
"Your Riley? Says who? He is strict with guests. He closed already the list at five. He is not accepting guests after that; also, you are not 18 yet. You are not allowed."
"Get the gifts, Rain," Cloud asked him.
They handed me a paper bag full of chocolates.
"Are you going to kill him with these chocolates? He doesn't like sweets." I made up this one. I would never bring a paper bag to a party.
"No. He posted last January 6 around 4 PM. He said he loves chocolate, especially this brand. We did our assignment, bro. We know what Riley likes, and dislikes are." Rain confidently replied.
Are they serious about Riley?
They are so young for Ri.
"Give it to him if you want. I am not bringing anything to the party."
"How about a card, Rye! Just slide it in your pocket. Just do this for us, will you?" Cloud asked.
"No."
"Or do you like my Riley?" Cloud added.
"Ours, bro. Riley is ours." Rain argued with him.
"Stop owning Riley. He is not yours. He is ..."
"He is what?" Cloud seemed annoyed.
"He belongs to himself. There are a lot of people there. Who knows if I won't be able to meet him tonight."
You both should calm down.
I went to my room to change. I was ready, waiting for Aki's message.
I checked his room. He left me. I would be shy to go there alone.
I messaged Riley that I was on the way, and he replied he was waiting.
He told me that Aki was already there.
I saw them standing in the middle of the party. I laughed inside my head when I saw Gel. This is not like him. Aki probably dragged him here.
I was talking to them when suddenly Aki stepped on my foot. "Back off." He whispered.
My foot hurts, but I cannot control myself laughing seeing my brother jealous. I know him so well. What happened to that jerk?
I was staring at them laughing, while my brother was obviously annoyed at me. I don't know why he is so mad, though? I will never like Nigel. He is like an older brother to me, same with Jared.
He is still glaring at me. Fuck! I look stupid, laughing alone. They are holding hands. Flirts!
"Why are you laughing, Rye?"
It was Ri.
"Nothing. Your party looks great. You did a good job."
"Of course, this is what I love to do. I love organizing events too."
"Really? So can you help me?"
"Anything! I can even offer you my kidney. Two kidneys. Kill me."
Riley is hilarious. What is he talking about?
"My kidneys are perfectly fine. Do you think which is better? A party in the hotel or the garden?"
"It depends. Can I see a picture of your garden?" He asked.
I showed him our last celebration in the garden.
"Now I can see how rich you are just by looking at this garden. This is awesome. This is perfect. Please don't do it in the hotel. I can already imagine how your garden looks when it's transformed.Don't get me wrong, how much is your budget?"
