Rye's POV
I brought Riley to the mansion. He deserves to be on the third floor, but I want to know my family's thoughts first. I asked him to wait for me downstairs to show him my art room. I've been painting whenever I am bored. I want to show him my work.
My family is complete here on the third floor. Mama and dada had a date in mama's place. I guess as to celebrate their wedding anniversary. I can't count how many times they had a wedding. Basically, they had lots of anniversaries. If I remember correctly, this anniversary is their wedding in Hawaii 20 years ago.
I changed my clothes. I informed my mom that Riley was downstairs.
When I finished changing, I ran outside. I stopped when I saw Riley standing near the elevator.
He said my dad asked him to do so.
I talked to my dad.
It's not that I don't want Riley here. I was just not prepared since we are not boyfriends yet.
"Dad, why did you..."
"I saw him waiting downstairs. You told me you are courting him."
Dad answered.
"Courting, yes. But..."
"Since you decided to court him, I supposed you are serious about him. Go get him. If you like him, make him yours by hook or by crook. What is taking you so long?" Dad told me.
"Shut up! You should let him decide for himself." My mom was so pissed. "Are you so proud bringing a guy here?"
"Baby, it's not like I brought a guy for me." Oops... I think another war will begin.
"Just shut up, Aidan. I can not believe you. Just wait till I bring another guy here as well." My mother said furiously.
"I am just helping. Why are you even making that guy wait downstairs?"
Dad looked at me.
"You are helping him. You are hurting me." Mommy is tearing up.
"Okay, I was wrong. He just gave me a vibe like he would be a good boyfriend to my son. I was wrong there. It won't happen again, baby. I didn't think straight." He cupped mom's cheek.
"I was shocked not because I saw him here. I was shocked because it was you who asked him. Do you want me to be mad at him?" Mommy asked my dad. "Just wait!"
"Please don't be mad at Riley. I want to bring him here too, but I am thinking of asking you first since you know I made a mistake of bringing Elaine here before. I promise Riley will be the last. I'll make sure of it."
I checked on Riley. He looks so uncomfortable seeing all my family here.
"Riley isn't your boyfriend yet, right?
Damn, I really want him." Rain spoke beside me. Riley is busy talking with Sky and Cloud.
"Back off, Rain. He is mine."
They decided to organize a party here. We would probably postpone our study night tonight. Riley seems to be so focused organizing it. I can see his passion here. He loves partying a lot. The introvert me can't relate.
His friend Maru is here too. I keep on watching Rain and Cloud. These two has probably a plan of stealing Riley from me. I won't give them a chance.
Everyone is here except for Kiro, who is obsessed with studying.
Dad and mom are drinking too.
Maru and Riley are acting as a bartender there. They work in sync.
It's like they have been doing this all their life. I am here in the corner just watching.
Nigel and Aki joined us too. They said they just woke up, and I doubt that. I know how Aki acts when he just got up.
"Fun?" I asked Aki.
