F1 One Shots

You where sat on the floor of the bathroom with the test on the sink side, having your hands covering your face and your knees tucked into your chest as you awaited for the result.

This was your 5th test, you and max had spoke about having a child but wasn't specific on when. Many thoughts ran through your head of the reaction of the Dutch driver. Non of them where positive. What if he left after finding out you where pregnant? What if he didn't love you anymore.

After another 30 minutes you rose to your feet and picked up the test with your shaky hands.. there it was, another positive test..

You burst into tears as you where feeling so many emotions at once. You wiped your tears away and tried to muster up the courage to tell max... Which didn't happen today.

3 days later

You both where sat in the red bull garage and you started to feel sick. You stood next to him nervously as you fiddled with your sleeve. He took notice and looked up at you curiously.

"What's on your mind?" He asked and took your hand into his, rubbing his thumb over the back of it.

"I- uhm... Have to t-tell you something. But you can't get mad" you stuttered and breathed shakily "you did mention needing to talk about something this morning, what is it?" He asked and smiled patiently.

"W-well uhm.. just.. here" you said rummaging through your bag and taking a test out of it you handed him it and he looked at it. After a moment he looked back "is this what I think it is?" He asked with a concerned look on his you nodded and placed your hands behind your back awaiting for his reaction "and it's positive?" He confirmed "well you shouldn't be here y/n are you stupid! You'll get other people sick and make yourself worse" he said standing up and trying to get you out.

"Max? What do you think it is" you asked confusedly "a covid test, duh" he said and let go of you so you could face him again.

You face palmed before gently slapping his chest "it's a pregnancy test dumbass!" You laughed before looking at his stunned expression and has no idea what he was thinking.

"Ma-" you went to say but he cut you off with a huge smile "I'm gonna be a dad?" He asked in excitement and you nodded smiling softly "I'm gonna be a dad!" He beamed and lifted you up and spinning you around. You laughed as he put you down and embraced you in a hug.

"What's going on guys?" Daniel as and you both looked to see lando, Sergio, Daniel and Charles.

"Can I?" Max asked trying to contain his excitement.
"Sure" you chuckled and watched him spin to face the others
"y/n is pregnant" he smiled proudly and Daniel matched his former teammates expression
"your gonna be a dad" he gasped and max nodded
"I'm gonna be a dad" he repeated and was pulled into a hug while Daniel patted his back harshly.

In the meantime lando, Sergio and Charles walked over to you lando pulled you into a hug and the other two joined in on it.

"Congratulations!" Sergio beamed "your better name them after me" he joked and and let go.

"And you should let me babysit!" Lando smiled proudly "you babysitting will cause disaster lando" Charles laughed and you joined in.

"I will take them on a driver!" Charles said and you couldn't help but smile to all of them taking it so well.
Max wrapped his arm around your shoulder and kisses the top of your head before laying his against it.

"Keep us updated! I wanna see the pictures of the scans!" Daniel beamed and the others agreed "but guys keep it hushed just now" max pleaded and they done a zip motion with there hand and lips.

After they left max let out a happy sigh as he hugged you properly and layed his head on your shoulder "I'm so happy" he whispered and you hugged him back "I'm glad you are" you said as the weight on your shoulders had been lifted.
