"Shit!ugh!"I punched the steering wheel.

Ano ba kasing nangyayari sa akin?!

I bury my forehead in my wrist ng may biglang kumatok sa aking bintana.

Paglingon ko ay nakita ko si Stephanie.

'What the hell is she doing here?'

Binaba ko ang left windshield.My brows knitted when I looked at her.

"What do you want?"

"Are you mad at me?"

I looked away and sighed.

"Stephanie please..you should have call your husband by now and tell him about your child."

"He will hit me again!hindi niya matatanggap ang anak ko!"

"And why is that?anak niya yan!"

"I-I know but..but he doesn't want a kid!"

Natahimik ako. Feels like pareho kami ng situation ni Steph.I wanted a kid,but Kim doesn't want to have one.And here's Steph,she wanted to keep her baby but her husband doesn't allow her.Ironic.

"You should go home now and take care of your baby."Sabi ko then I closed my window again.

I left her and as much as I wanted to go back para pasakayin siya sa kotse ko ay hindi ko na ginawa.Looking at her just reminds me of the baby inside her tummy.

Dumating ako sa bahay and I call Kim,but this time ay siya na naman itong hindi sumasagot sa tawag ko.

I stood up,took some water in the fridge and bumalik ako sa sofa then I watched the evening news.

Nagflash ang photo sa screen,at kahit blurry ito alam kong si Kim ang nasa picture.

Napatayo ako,walking back and forth habang tinatawagan ang asawa ko.

And finally she answered her phone.

Me: "Baby?!"

Kim: "Baby bakit?may problema ba?!"

Me: "Have you seen the news?"

Kim: "News?"

Me: "Yes!who are you with now?"

Kim: "Kasama ko si Clark,it turns out na siya pala yung kliyen---"

Nahilamos ko ang palad sa mukha.

Me: "Clark?!you mean Clark Gonzalo?!"

Kim: "Ye-yes,ba-bakit?"

Me: "Stay away from that asshole!ayokong nakikipag-usap ka pa sa gagung yan!"

Kim: "Vincent...."

Me: "I will book a flight tonight at susunduin kita jan!"

Kim: "Vincent may client pa ako tomorrow,alam mo naman kung gaano ka importante tong trabaho ko di ba?this is all I have!"

Me: "All you have? I'm here Kim!"

Kim: "Vincent...ayoko ng away..okay?just wait for me there tomorrow,uuwi naman ako after ng meeting and--"

Me: "So makikipag usap ka pa sa kanya?is that so?hindi mo ba alam na sinaktan niya ang asawa niya?he hurt Stephanie!"

Kim: "Hindi mo ba alam na baka nagsisinungaling lang yang babaeng yan?are you gonna believe her?"

Me: "At bakit hindi?sandali nga..bakit pakiramdam ko,may sinabi yang gagu na yan sayo!are you telling me na mas pinaniniwalaan mo siya kaysa sa akin?"

Kim: "Jesus Christ Vinny!that is their issue!"

Me: "I will book a flight tonight at uuwi tayo dito, whether you like it or not!"

Kim: "Vin----"

I hung up and threw my phone on the sofa.

The doorbell rang.Napamura ako bago ako lumabas ng pinto.

It's Stephanie again.

"What do you want?!"

"I'm scared Vincent,may nagtatangka sa buhay ko!ang they're after me now!please help me please!"

"What?!"

Mabilis kong binuksan ang gate ng mapansin ang isang rumaragasang itim na sasakyan. A stranger inside the car stick his hand with a gun outside the window. He tried to shoot Stephanie but I grabbed Stephanie,pulled her inside sabay kubli namin sa gilid ng gate. The bullets hit the wall outside.

We heard a tire screeched sa unahan at nakita namin ang tuluyang paglayo ng sasakyan.

Stephanie cried and hugged me at kahit gustuhin ko mang itulak siya palayo,I couldn't do it given the incident that just happened earlier.
