"Is Toxic going to kill us?" Ranger asked Steph, her voice laced with fear. Steph shook her head and replied "No." Ranger let out a relieved breath. Steph took a few steps back, then grinned nervously.

"Hopefully."

Everybody jumped a foot in the air when Toxic whipped around to face them. Her skin had turned silver-grey, and her hair, which was usually green at the tips, was completely black. Her eyes had turned from poisonous green to blood red.

Everybody stood rock still as she seemed to scan them. After a few seconds, she turned back to the Ghast, confirming it as the creature who had hurt her friend. With a mighty roar, she leapt at the Ghast. The height of the jump was nearly impossible, to normal player standards.

Suddenly a bright burst of red smoke engulfed the Ghast. Toxic was apparently not the cause; she was blown backwards, but landed on her feet. The Ghast fell to the ground, unable to stay in the air any longer. From behind the Ghast stepped none other than Blaze.

Wolf followed close behind, her sword in hand. Looking out at the band of friends, Wolf saw that they were all glaring daggers at Blaze. Toxic began to morph back, now that the Ghast was dead. The tips of her hair turned green, as did her eyes. Her skin returned to its normal color.

Then she saw Blaze. She unsheathed her sword, but Pro acted faster. Rushing out over the space between her and Blaze, she swung the sword in a sweeping downwards arc. Wolf stepped between her and Blaze, prepared to make good on her promise.

Drawing her hand back, she brought it forward with the force of a sledgehammer. Pro actually flew backwards several blocks, then disappeared in midair. Wolf blinked. She had actually slapped her into the next century. All eyes but Wolfs turned to Blaze. They were about to lunge at her when Wolf shouted "Hold on! She's on our side!"

Ranger growled "She just made Pro disappear, Wolf. She's nothing more than a monster." Wolf actually stepped back a pace. Then she asked "Would you feel that way about me if I did that?" Ranger looked surprised, then replied "Of course. But you didn't do it. Blaze did."

"No. Blaze wasn't responsible for that. I was." Wolf said. Steph stepped back, a shocked look on her face. "What?" She exclaimed. Wolf held her head higher and said loudly "I made her disappear." Blaze was certain she saw Wolf's eyes start to water.

"I know that you all have enough to handle, but this is something you need to know." Wolf said. Blaze turned to her and said "Wolf, you defended me when Pro tried to kill me. I'll do the same for you." Wolf nodded in response and said to everybody "I am Herobrine's sister."

Complete and utter silence. Blaze tensed up, ready to defend Wolf if the situation called for it. Wolf stammered "Guys, I can explain...I just...you see...it's not my fault..." She trailed off as she saw the expression on their faces.

Shock. Fear. Confusion. And...even though she was their best friend...she still saw hate. Wolf tried to speak again but all that came out was a choking sob. Blaze's eyes burned red with rage. Wolf said "I need to be alone." Then she disappeared. Blaze clenched her fists.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HER? AFTER ALL SHE'S BEEN THROUGH? DONT YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH PAIN SHE'S IN? YOU MADE HER CRY! DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT? WOLF IS MY FRIEND, AND IF YOU FEEL OTHERWISE, GET THE NETHER OUT OF HERE!" She yelled. Everybody flinched. Nobody had ever seen Blaze this angry before.

"AND FURTHERMORE, BEFORE ALL OF YOU GO INTO A MAD RUSH TO KILL ME, HEROBRINE PUT A SPELL ON ME TO MAKE ME JOIN HIM! IF ANYBODY HERE STILL WANTS TO TRY THEIR LUCK, GO AHEAD! JUST KNOW THIS: I'M STILL YOUR FRIEND!" She growled the last four words. She stepped forward and pulled out her sword.

Then she dropped it to the ground. She spread her arms wide. She said "Anybody who still wants vengeance, feel free." She spat. "Show me your true colors." For a few seconds, they were rock still. Then they started to walk towards Blaze.

Closing her eyes, Blaze waited for her end. It never came. Instead, she felt the arms of Mineral, who had finally woken up, Ranger, Dave, and Steph wrapping around her. Opening her eyes in shock, she saw them all hugging her. For a few seconds she was awestruck. Then she wrapped her arms around them.

For a few comforting moments, they stayed in a giant friend hug. Then they stepped away. Blaze herself was in danger of crying. Ranger said "Blaze...I feel horrible. I'm sure we all do. After what Wolf went through she didn't deserve this kind of treatment."

"We want you to help us find her." Steph said. "You know her best. Where would she be?" Blaze thought for a moment. She went back to all the times when Wolf said she wanted to be alone, or needed a moment.

"She's at home."
