The Herobrine Quest

Chapter 40. Puppet Master

"Toxic, welcome back." Herobrine said as she landed at the door of the End Fortress. Toxic said "Save it. What's the report?" Herobrine replied "They've begun to think you're my willing ally. And even though it's far off, I think something should be done about it."

"You don't think my plan will work?" Toxic challenged. Herobrine hastened to decline. "No, no of course it will work! I just thought...if they dig too deep..."

"Everything will go as I planned, Herobrine, and your job is to act as decoy leader. But don't forget, I'm still the puppet master." Herobrine nodded sullenly. Toxic added "I trust the potion for my chest is in production?"

Herobrine shook his head and replied "You don't need one. I designed it to give you the Brine Effect for a limited time, then it leaves your system through your exhaled breath." Toxic nodded approvingly and said "Now that the initial plan's set up, it's time to make Plan B."

Herobrine frowned and said "Plan A didn't work?" Toxic smiled, then said "No. I'm just using both at once to ensure that we win." Herobrine nodded. There was not much else to do. Toxic said "I'll be in my quarters, planning out the last battle.

"You can go an do pretty much whatever you want. If I were you, though, I'd pay a visit to our heroes. Just...not right now." Herobrine cocked his head to the side, then asked "Why not?" Toxic replied "Notch is there with them."

Herobrine looked surprised. "How do you know?" He exclaimed. Toxic smiled again and replied "I have powers greater than anybody in Minecraftia has ever known. Including Notch himself." She snorted.

"He thinks nobody knows where he is. The cloaking spell he used was the easiest one I've ever broken through. His location was easy to pinpoint after that, even though they're in the future." Then she added another important detail.

"SetoSorcerer's there, too. So I suggest you wait until they've both left to make your appearance. Two of their warriors are injured and unable to fight, Pro and Blaze, and they'll be short one because I left. Should be more than even odds if they try to attack you."

Herobrine grinned and said "I'll make them believe you're under my control, as the Brine Effect enchantment would have had." Toxic nodded absently, staring at a map of some location in Minecraftia.

Herobrine knew any words he would say from this point on would be only half-heard, so he walked away.
