The end is drawing near...

A blinding flash of white light erupted from above them, and a figure appeared. Wolf, who had managed to stand, narrowed her eyes. "Herobrine." She said.

All eyes turned to Herobrine, who was watching each of them the way a lion might stalk its prey. Ranger raised her diamond sword, swinging it in an experimental arc.

Toxic decided she would stay out of the fight for now. She needed to recharge...and to be frank, she was not eager to kill again. Even if the person was the Lord of Mobs and Night.

"Toxic. A wonderful plan indeed! Pretend to be on their side and distract them while I drain their magic. Utterly genius." Herobrine said, grinning from ear to ear. Scarlett's eyes flew wide open, and she clenched her fist.

No fire appeared.

Everybody turned to Toxic. Their eyes burned with betrayal and anger. All except for Scarlett, surprisingly. Her face was calm and emotionless. Toxic began to wonder if she was wearing a mask or something.

Toxic raised an eyebrow. "Give them back their powers, Herobrine." She said calmly. Herobrine looked as if he had taken a brick to the face. "W-What? WHY?" He almost shouted.

"Because I said so, Flashlight Eyes." Toxic replied, crossing her arms. Herobrine rolled his eyes - but you couldn't really tell, considering he had no pupils - and replied "Good response, Toxic. You should be a lawyer!"

Toxic said, a little more forcefully this time "Cut the humor and give them back their powers, before I have to get my magic involved." Herobrine's eyes widened slightly.

"Very well." He muttered. After a few moments, Scarlett's palm blazed with fire. A collective sigh of relief went through the gathered friends as they all tested their magic, finding that it had been given back to them.

Herobrine's eyes were bright enough to blind someone. "Toxic. What is the meaning of this? I thought you were...you were supposed to kill them!" He growled.

Toxic shook her head and replied "Nope. Not anymore. The soul's oath is broken, and therefore I have no reason to continue doing the Ender Dragon's bidding."

Scarlett turned to her, a small bit of confusion showing now. She hadn't heard about the soul's oath she had given. Of course. Scarlett thought she had done this of her own accord.

Suddenly, a blast of white lightning struck Herobrine square in the chest.

It sent him flying backward several blocks, and when he reoriented himself, he looked a little less than happy. "Who...is responsible...for that." He breathed, his voice dangerously quiet.

"Me! Me! Me! ME ME ME ME!" All eyes turned to Wolf, who was jumping up and down and giggling like an insane three year old. Toxic looked at her weirdly.

"Did she get knocked on the head or something?" Herobrine asked nobody in particular. Ranger facepalmed. "WOLF. Quit it. You're going to make us look like idiots." She said.

Wolf giggled again and replied "You don't need me to accomplish that!"

Steph said, a tone of finality in her voice "Yep. I think she got knocked on the head. What now?" Nobody replied. "So...should we start the epic final battle between good and evil without her?" Ranger asked.

Wolf immediately stopped acting insane. "Guys. I'm fine." She said, waving her arms around. Then her eyes narrowed. "Leave me out of this battle and I swear I will EAT YOUR SOULS."

Ranger laughed nervously, then turned to Herobrine. "Can she actually do that?" She whispered. Herobrine nodded confirmation. Everyone turned to stare at him in disbelief.

Ranger began to slowly edge away from Wolf.
