Chapter 17

Now it was my turn. I really didn't feel ready for this. The amount of stress on me right now is insane:

= Becca may try to make a move on Charlie while I'm out here
= I may forget everything
= all the dance guys aren't taking to me, still
= I want to make Miss Abbey, mum, dad, Mel, Jordi, Charlie, Victoria, Leo and Tiffany proud
= if I fail this tour, who knows how it could effect my future

As BAM came off stage I grabbed my microphone, my legs feeling like I could collapse any second, and headed out to hundreds of screams and cheers. This built my confidence.

"Hello Leeds! How you all doin'?" Again, another cheer.

"Well I'm Emily and welcome to the opening night of my debut tour! Wow! Right, so I thought I'd kick off with a song you all should know. Have you heard Last Night by a little band called The Vamps? Let's go!"

"How was that? Good?" This crowd is very cheer-y. If that makes sense. I started to sing Wrecking Ball and all I could think was how privileged I am to be in this position. Five years ago I was just a stupid little 12 year old girl who just hoped that she'd be able to make something of her life. Now, I'm performing on my own tour to a new city every night.

"So for this next one, I thought I'd bring out a few friends of mine. Let's see if you can guess them. Hmmm let's see... Oh, a quote. This will get you 'hi my names__. I'm Henry, this is Alfred, I'm Dan and __ has left the band'," (give yourself pat on the back if you've got it😉)

"OVERLOAD!" The crowd roared. And the five boys ran out, dancing and messing around.

"So as you guys know, I am little Emily's older and much wiser brother..." Jordi started. Oh god, here we go.

"Are you sure your wiser?" Joey joked.

"Positive. Anyway, I only thought that it was right to share an embarrassing story of hers to you. When she was 7, she had a huge obsession with Zac Efron as he had just been in High School Musical,"

"Don't dis HSM," Ryan warned.

"Don't worry Ry, I won't. So at Christmas, she got a replacer cheerleader outfit to which she made is film videos of her doing... Let's say unique... Routines and put them on YouTube and I'm lead to believe that they are still up there today so be sure to check them out,"

"The thing that Jordi is missing form that story, is that he wanted an outfit as well so he even bought one with his own money! Also, he appears in said dress in a fair few of them videos so be sure to share them with your friends," I sassed. Oh yes, the sass is real.

We eventually started singing 'Don't Stop' as a six piece and Andy playing guitar.

I was left on stage alone once again. The stress started kicking in again now I was alone. Come on Emily! You can power through this!

"This next one is called 'Thinking Out Loud' by Mr Ed Sheeran," I introduced.

Then all of a sudden, my head started spinning along with the room. I could think straight. Then...

Black.

And I heard my body flop to the stage floor...

A/N cliffhanger! I'm sorry tell you but the next update won't be until Monday as that Connections play, that I told you all about, we are going to Kendal, Cumbria on a trip to perform it so I'm gone the whole weekend. However, I will certainly update Monday AND Tuesday to make up for it!
