December 14th - Prompt: Christmas cake

"Edmund!"

Peter frowned a little when he heard the cry from the kitchen, and he ran the rest of the way down the corridor and poked his head inside.

He was quite surprised to see Edmund and Lucy, and a smashed cake on the floor.

Edmund was staring down at it, biting his lip before he sighed. "Whoops." He mumbled.

Lucy sighed too, before looking up, spotting Peter in the doorway and smiling a little.

Peter smirked. "What happened?" He asked.

Lucy rolled her eyes playfully. "Edmund dropped the Christmas cake." She muttered.

"It was an accident I swear." Edmund said quickly.

Peter chuckled. "Well yeah, I don't think you threw it on the floor." He said, walking in a picking up the cake.

"We can make another one don't worry Ed." Lucy said gently, smiling at her brother.

Edmund bit his lip, but nodded a little. "Alright, but we better hurry." He muttered. "Susan needs it for the Christmas party tonight."

Peter laughed. "I'll help, I've got an hour to kill." He said.

"Good, three of us it shouldn't take long at all." Lucy said, taking a bowl from the cupboard. "Ed, grab the sugar."
