April...

Cas and I spent more time than before with each other. Though we mostly didn't really do anything at all. Even if we wanted to, our priorities were directed at something else at the moment.

Our everyday was consumed by school, studying for our final exams, taking care of matters of the pack and fulfilling our responsibilities. And our hobbies were there too.

There wasn't much time left to enjoy our time together. Sadly.

Still, we were together and only that made me happy. Just being at his side was enough because he returned my love and that alone couldn't make me any happier.

All the emotions I felt for him weren't indescribable. It was like we grew closer to each other, loved us more and strengthened our bond, which wasn't bad at all.

I didn't want to miss those feelings anymore – didn't want to miss him. And all those emotions were so overwhelming that I could only name one thing clearly.

The distance and tension between us had disappeared into thin air.

»Do you understand this?«

Attentively, I looked over to Cas who was lying next to me in his bed and had his books before him.

I had finally forced him to concentrate on studying, though I still needed to explain much to him because he didn't understand most of it.

I slightly leaned over to him and looked at the sentence at which he pointed.

»Amor vitae meae es,« I read mumbling to myself and blushed bright red in the next moment before I kissed his cheek and avoided his proudly beaming face. »You mine too.«

You are the love of my life.

May...

»If you don't stop fidgeting, I won't hold myself back and will hit you, hard,« Fynn hissed at Toby who jumped from one leg to the other the whole time.

It even made me nervous that he fidgeted the whole time.

»But I'm nervous,« he whined and twisted his plaintive expression.

His mate snorted annoyedly. »Be nervous at another time. Preferably when I'm not around.« Bitch.

Gently two arms wrapped themselves around my belly and pulled me against a muscular chest in which the heart beat quickly and infected mine with it.

»When we finally leave this building today, I'm going to take you out on a date,« he purred quietly in my ear so only I could hear.

Our first date. After all, the true first one was canceled after we had that fight...

»Do I need to wait for a surprise or will you tell me what you have planned?« I asked curiously and turned around in his arms and twined my arms around his neck.

His eyes watched my lovingly and softly. A sight I never wanted to miss in my life again.

What would I do if he ever stopped looking at me with those eyes? I believed I would be an empty shell that forgot completely what love was.

»I assume you need to wait for the surprise.«

Sulking I twisted my lips that he immediately stared at with a thirsting look in his eyes.

»Not even a teeny-weeny hint?« I asked and put on my best puppy eyes.

»I'm really sorry, my sweetheart. You need to wait.«
