»You can transform back, Kyran. You are safe,« Cas whispered and stroked through my fur.

Everyone else I would have bitten or attacked if they tried to touch me but not Cassian because I felt a safety from him that calmed me down a little bit.

However as long as I didn't get a sign from the angel I wouldn't transform back.

Sighing Cas petted me more and looked to doctor Taylor who stood in the doorframe. I wouldn't let anybody come closer.

»I can't find a reason why his heart suddenly beats again. He was dead,« he said, not understanding at all.

Of course, he couldn't understand how I rose from the dead. Because it was a divine might that brought me back that always had watched over my children and me.

And now I was able to understand so much.

The old woman that I had met. She was the angel and gave me those rings to hide me from the demons. That had the woman – or the angel – meant that the light couldn't die out.

My light, my heart, my children. The blessing of the goddess.

»Only Kyran can tell us. I at least hope he can... We need to wait until he transforms back,« Cassian mumbled concerned.

»Alpha, it seems like he feels threatened. Maybe he can feel the demons somewhere and wants to protect his children.«

»If they are here. They should come. I will tear them apart in the air should they dare to touch my mate and children again,« Cas growled.

Because of his growl, I growled too, which made him stop with his strokes.

»Calm down,« he mumbled and took a deep breath.

»How does it look with our pups? When will they transform back? They can't stay as wolves forever,« Cassian asked.

»Normally, and I think it's the same here too, your children will transform back in about two weeks. In that period their eyes slowly open and when they are fully open, they should transform. If that isn't the case, I would like to ask you to come back here for a check-up, Alpha.«

Slightly Cassian nodded and doctor Taylor went away.

I was still lying down in my bed and watched my puppies while my ears took in every kind of noise.

Should the demons really dare to come here, I would make Cassian's words come true. After the curse faded away, I didn't feel weak at all anymore.

I was almost exploding from all the power.

»How did you come back?« Cas asked quietly and put his hand on my head. Warning him, I growled, which made him take back his hand.

»I'm not doing anything to you.« He frowned deeply, and I snorted.

All of a sudden, I could feel the same energy that I had felt in the empty white room and lifted my head up.

My eyes fixed on the angel that stood inside my hospital room.

»They are destroyed, no danger threatens you anymore.«

Cassian's head jerked to the angel. »Who are you?!« my mate growled and jumped up.

He already wanted to transform himself when I transformed back and grabbed his wrist. »Don't,« I said quietly.

He eyed me quickly and then watched the angel, skeptical.

»I thank you,« I addressed the young man who only shook his head.

»No. I was too late. I was too naive and thought the demons would never get so far. I was wrong. Now, you don't need to worry anymore. I destroyed them and sent them into the never-ending abyss. No danger will threaten the blessed children of the moon goddess.«

His voice was so gentle and calm that I – as ridiculous as it sounded – immediately felt like I was free from all guilt.

»Still, you deserve my thanks. You freed me from my cell, you freed me from the curse, brought me back from the dead and destroyed the demons. It doesn't matter if you were too late, you are here now and corrected all your mistakes.«

Smiling, he nodded before his figure disappeared. Lights, like little fireflies, faded from his body until his full shape disappeared.

»Was that?« Cassian asked with an open mouth.

»An angel,« I answered his cut off question. »An angel sent from the moon goddess.«

With wide eyes he stared at me. »He brought you back to life?« he asked, and I nodded.

»He saved us.« Gently I looked down on my little ones and felt tears stream down my cheeks.

Finally, everything was over. I was so glad.

Startled, I gasped when Cassian suddenly pulled me into his arms.

»I think I will start to pray every evening from now on,« he breathed and hid his nose in my hair.

»We will do that together,« I whispered, relieved and took his scent deeply in.

Now everything would turn out to be good.

»And you are sure that you want to be discharged already, Luna?« doctor Taylor asked with crossed arms.

»I'm sure. I feel good and I just want to go home,« I said.

Sighing he nodded. »Fine. But please take care of yourself.«

Smiling, I nodded before I took a look inside the MaxiCosi in Cassian's hand. Our little ones were sleeping, as they mostly did.

»Off home?« I asked, and he bowed down to kiss my lips. »Off home.«

Together we went into his car and I put the MaxiCosi on my lap to carefully stroke my children.

I knew it wasn't really safe this way, but I still couldn't let them go far from me, even inside the car. Couldn't take my fingers off of them.

Quietly music played from the radio while we drove over the road, through the woods, back to our home. And when I saw the big building, I already felt like I had arrived.

Happily, I opened the door and climbed out with our children. Tears of relief welled up.

Finally, I was back. Finally, I was home.

Softly, Cassian twined his arms around me from behind and put his head on my shoulder.

»I'm glad to be back,« I said, chuckling.

Laughing Cas nodded. »Me too, sweetheart. More than glad. So happy that you are back.«

Gently he left his arm around my hip and led me to the front door that he unlocked.

The homely scent welcomed me and the giant living room with the open kitchen was covered in a soft evening light. Fine particles of dust flew through the air.

And then I heard a meow. In front of us on the ground was Coffee and it looked like she wanted to welcome us.

Smiling, I turned to Cas and he looked down at me.

»Welcome home, sweetheart.«

[Authors Note]

Hey hey hey

This is the official last chapter.

But stop! It's not over yet!

Because they are three epilogues! You read right, three! PLUS! Side-Stories! :D

An official epilogue how it is supposed to be. And two others that could be called specials. I will publish all three together, so you don't need to wait for more.
At first, I only planned two epilogues but because of some comments in the original version, I had a pretty mean idea. Maybe some may even want to murder me for it :D

I hope to see you all in the last few chapters and maybe in some translations I will do in the future!
